Schumacher is clearly now secretly helping TAG develop their engines. Apparently over in boosted-lalaland, Mick Shcumacher is developing the 2017 engine during his F3 races

Six races into the season and Ferrari want us to rest sured that there are reasons they're not winning, things going wrong and people to blame. It's not their car and it's certainly not their being overtaken by Red Bull as the main competition to the Silver Arrows.
Please no more of this. Always something to blame at Maranello and any time they don't do well the sport is made to suffer.

Ferrari still believe they have a awesome car and still in the hunt for the championship. They better hurry up and make their move because this might start wearing thin after a couple more Grand Prix weekends.

There should be a separate title awarded for passion

They better hurry up and make their move because this might start wearing thin after a couple more Grand Prix weekends. I dunno, they're gonna have to seriously step up their game - not just in terms of car performance but in their reliability and operation. They completely threw away a seriously good chance of victory in Melbourne, they've had a number of points-loosing mechanical issues and the team's drivers have been involved in their fair share of accidents and scrapes. Lots of things to mop up before they can think about the title. Poor show from the Scuderia so far, overall, given the potential.

Seven races, seven reasons as to how Ferrari "should have won" but (insert excuse here) It's getting old, and I'm sure there are more excuses than there are grand prix this year. What's a fan to do? I don't mind fanaticism in some aspects it's great to see and it makes for more flavorful discussions. What amuses me it the disjointed arguments to justify warped perspectives. Some monkey molester on the interwebz wrote the following a couple weeks back in Monaco. But in Canada, Vettel would have probably been faster in the race if Ferrari had given him a 4x4 with all the off roading he did lap after lap, some of which was while defending from a faster opponent. Oh, life's simple pleasures.

I'm guessing this monkey pleasurer hasnt much of a clue about F1 regs but is an expert on hairy F1 mankinis
Everyone knows you can go off road and return ahead of the point you left once or twice without penalty - unless you are a Ferrari driver

Vettel showed his choking tendencies when he's having to keep up with equally fast cars around him. Too many already. Choked and crashed into his teammate in Turkey 2011, was nowhere in Nurburgring 2011, and now when he knows the car has it to challenge, chokes 3-4 times during 1 race and then blames seagulls.
He's a fantastic front runner (pun unintended Frontrunner) but when the expectation is on his shoulders, he turns pretty average.

"The championship is long and we have had several unfortunate days - while they have had only one bad occasions." Really? I wonder if Mr. Cumwell has tried running that sentiment past Hamilton?

The problem at Ferrari is and always has been their ego self. Tough to build greatness when the assumption is that you're already great.
We're going to rehire Raikkonen instead of promoting this kid called Bianchi who's showing tons of promise. Verstappen gets a win Bianchi is dead, set in old ways is right. So this giving opportunity to the talent they already have, let's see.

^So...wait, they said that at the end of June? Which means the contract renewal took place because of Kimis performance in Austria where he got slapped by Verslappen and a lucky podium because of the Mercedes crash. So he's "proven" his mettle in this one race for Ferrari? It seems the Ferrari seat is an easier to get than my current job position. Btw, I came across this old but gold headline (few races ago mind you but still funny as f**k) Ferrari can still win 2016 title insists team boss Maurizio ArrivabeneFerrari team boss Maurizio Arrivabene believes the title is still possible for the Italian team, despite falling further behind Mercedes in Monaco, whilst Red Bull have closed the gap in the previous two races. Ferrari are now 67 points adrift of the championship lead and following Max Verstappen's Spanish win, followed by Daniel Ricciardo's second place in Monaco, the buffer to Red Bull has closed to just nine points. But Arrivabene insists the season is far from over for Ferrari, with mixed results - three different winners from the last three races - meaning no driver or team is running away with the championship at present. " No way," he said, when asked if the title was a target too far now. "You saw Ricciardo here was quite good, and Hamilton is coming back. "So what we have to do is to keep our concentration, to keep focus, concentrate and look forward. This championship is going to be quite interesting I think." The Italian blamed Ferrari's qualifying performance in Spain and Monaco for their underwhelming results of late, which has seen the team score just 45 points, compared to Red Bull's 55 in the last couple of grands prix, despite looking the quicker team in the opening races of the season. " If we had qualified better, the result would also had been better," added Arrivabene. "Our car had a very good race pace but that’s not enough, as we must make sure that we stay competitive for the whole weekend. "We now look forward to the next race in Canada where we don’t want to be caught out, as we want to be up to our name. The season is still very long, and it’s not in the DNA of Ferrari to surrender."

The guy didn't loose the plot, he's been reading the same tired script. it's not bad luck when you stick your finger in an electrical socket and get stung. my opinion of Ferrari is known round these parts however I'm also the guy to say that a healthy and competitive Ferrari is way better for the sport at large. Unfortunately there's still this chip on their shoulder that it's Ferrari, there's nothing to rebuild, they show up, work hard and should therefore win. it's not like that in the world, you have to have the right people and you have to have a long term rebuilding plan. a plan that could take four or five years to execute on but with Ferrari it's always about next year and immediate expectations because after all, they are Ferrari.

I really think the time has come to create a special title for 'heritage passion' - awarded every year to the team with the most romance, passion and 'fabric'. Just like Ferrari receive 100mill just for turning up, the feat of having competed for all those years with such a low percentage of actually taking something home should be recognised with a trophy.
This would keep the Tifosi happy and give them something to celebrate and point to. It would also keep Arriva in a job because points would be awarded for fist pumping and declarations of 'never giving up' + 'not in our dna' + 'we are still second on points, how dare you say we are no longer second best'

Wimps. These wimps who influence their teams decision to keep certain drivers just so it makes life easier. Agree, this is why forward progress at Ferrari is slow going.
