At 1:50am when the network is hardly being used. A bit of improvement, going to be fun to test it on the 28th/29th of April

I use Virgin Media as well. The problem I have is that the router is shit. They have replaced it a few times and they all have had terrible range and not a very WiFi speed Have you tried different wifi channels? It's not necessarily the router it might just be busy band traffic (too many signals in the air) Have you made sure all of your wifi devices have wireless N capabilities, your network can be drastically reduced from having an old phone or something connected will lower the signal of your network unless you have a dual band router. Have you got any cordless phones, baby monitors, wireless thermostats or anything wireless... try turning them off and see if wifi improves. Check your satellite dish to see if it's got exposed wires or looks poorly wired, if it is then this will cause interference. Most wifi issues now a days are down to having old devices on the network or just because more and more neighbours have wifi systems. Yes mate tried all the channels. I had BT before and the WiFi speed was much faster. Plus the range was much better.

I'm not sure why you guys are discussing WiFi speed. Do you not get an actual copper pair, cable or twisted pair POTS line or something physical that gets to your house that you plug into your own router?

I use Virgin Media (good old Dickie Branson) which is a fibre connection to my house. I always assumed it is what you guys called Cable.

So that's not bad, especially from a mobile device connected through WiFi.

Annual physical today. The good news, blood work is excellent and generally good health with the exception of the wear and tear that happens when you reach your fifth decade. The bad news, the doctor stuck his finger in my ass. I really hope it was his finger.

However never have a had to do it before in from of irate parents I have a lot of respect for people doing talks/public speaking because I know I couldn't do it. I had to talk in front of my whole school once and when I got up on the stage I just froze, didn't and couldn't speak, I just stared out blank. I must have gone pretty red faced because I felt super embarrassed... thankfully the teacher spotted it pretty quick and said "ooh I forgot to mention..." and went on to say something, I got away with not having to embarrass myself for longer.

I tried to be high tech which back fired on me. I had bullet points on topics I had to cover written in Google sheets. So I had the file open on phone. Good plan until is kept timing out and locking the screen
