Always thought about getting my motorbike license in my early twenties but probably a good thing I didn't pursue getting one because i'm sure I would've killed myself riding a motorbike. You and me both, I know I would have probably taken it to a track and had fun on it until I crash and seriously hurt myself.

Interesting weekend already at Catalunya, Looks like Moto GP will use the layout that F1 uses, so that means the tighter turn 10 hairpin will be used instead of the longer radius hairpin and also the final chicane is added as well that misses the fast turn 12.
These changes made after the death of Luis Salom in Moto 2 at turn 12.

Anyone remember Nicky Hayden? Only ever won three moto GP's but it was enough to land a championship. He was fighting Rossi for it . He's in world superbikes now
He's had a really bad accident practising , hit by a car. He's in a critical condition with head injuries.
Nice guy, Rossi says one of his best friends in the paddock.
Hoping against hope he pulls through.

Nicky Hayden's died. I can't believe it. So sad. Apparently it wasn't practise,it was training, He was on a bicycle when a car hit him.

Moto GP races have been really really good, watched Mugello last week and Barcelona tonight and i'm hooked again. I haven't really followed it that closely since Stoner retired, kind of lost interest a bit but now starting to follow it closely again, also helps that I can watch every race live on free to air, unlike F1 Also nice to see Ducati do well again and get back to back wins! Well done Dovi.

I watched a replay of some race couple of weeks back where Rossi makes a little screw up losing the lead and then makes a BIG screw up and completely loses it while in 2nd place. Man how often does that happen, seeing #46 go down like a rookie.

That was rare, normally its the other rider that cracks under pressure, Rossi is definitely past his prime but still a quality rider and can win races and be a contender for the WC.
I remember when I was still in high school watching Rossi dominate Moto Gp, that feels like a looong time ago now, a yet he is still going round. incredible.

Oh yeah same here...I was actually a Max Biaggi and Alex Barros fan and Max kept crumbling under pressure I disliked Rossi then! Lol Feels ages ago like you say, and he's still at it. Hard to not call him greatest of all time already.
