Their Chinese front wing looks more like they were using in winter testing and similar but more advanced than Ferrari's. I wouldn't be surprised if we see all of the cars doing the same thing before Silverstone

I think I read somewhere that the wing upgrade was for the European rounds, but after Malaysis they brought it forward.

They had the pace to pull away but went into management mode as soon as they got a couple of seconds ahead of Ferrari. Though it seems the Ferrari is a handy car when heavy on fuel, but after half the race when the fuel burns away the Merc fades into the distance. Anyway, this was a warmish track, Bahrain is another chance for Ferrari to get close but after that.....as long as Merc keeps the updates coming they're in control.

I disagree, Vettel was pushing early on to try and force a mistake from Rosberg and when they tried the undercut both times he was maxing his car to try and leapfrog Rosberg but it failed both times (Vettels lap times were over half a second slower when he went into management mode as they know they can't overtake Mercedes on track when on equal terms. Mercedes were cruising a bit more so for Hamilton but Vettel was comfortable too, you saw he was able to manage the gap to Vettel pretty easily just like Hamilton was doing to Rosberg. Rosbergs tires were fine after each stint, even though he thought they were ruined his team and pitlane reports say otherwise. Hamilton could have easily gone a further 10 laps on the soft compound tire at slower speeds of course. I bet neither car did more than 6 laps in their max performance mode. Lap 1 max performance, maybe also lap 2 for Rosberg. Each pit in-lap and some of the outlaps but I bet you the Ferrari did easily twice as many

Mercedes have said that if giving the drivers free reign to race interferes with a result for The team then they may impose orders later in the season. .
I thought their stance has always been to fight it out but the team comes first.
Anyway, I'd be worried about that statement if I was Rosberg.
Also in this article Lewis says he is mentally stronger than Rosberg! OOCH! Take that 'lewis is mentally fragile' gang.

Who was the mentally weak argument guy last year? Wonder what he's morphed that opinion into this year.

Can't remember his name. It was probably Spanky anyway in another disguise. It's probably morhed into he can't manage a race strategy. And oops forgot the link to that article, will have to find that now. here it is www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/32277260

It would appear that the Merc boys have a brand new Pit Stop record of 1.83 seconds! (translated through Google)

Yeah no need for team orders, Mercedes are pretty comfortable at the moment but even then later on in the year if they were under pressure I'm pretty sure the extra pressure would get to Rosberg where as Lewis is pretty comfortable with the pressure.
