Positive race for Hamilton, the whole context will lift him up and I think he needed that just a little bit. I am not too worry, Hamilton will win this championship. It will be hard but the stars will line up at the right time.

Remember the hullabaloo from some quarters when Hamilton made a veiled reference to Ferraris tactics ( of taking out competitors, himself and Bottas ) . I’m not sure the goading by Vettel that preceded the comments was reported. He said: “We had a super car, a great strategy and we did it at their home. “Now we take the English flag and hang it in Maranello… Yes!” Lewis’s response.... “I see that as a weakness rather than a whole need to even say anything,” said the Mercedes driver. www.planetf1.com/news/hamilton-had-no-need-to-respond-to-vettels-at-home-dig/

This is nice from the Italian Press. Seems they appreciate Lewis more than the British press.

They're just wooing him in case Vettel can't do it for Ferrari. Lewis is probably ready to shift gears come 2020. I'd love to see Saggy's face if that were to happen.

That would be priceless! She’d be torn between blind love and abject hate!

So would I. But I'm pretty confident that's not gonna happen. He'd be in his mid 30s by then and starting out with another team at that age? Would Ferrari want someone heading into his twilight years as well? And why risk the amazing stat of being a true Mercedes man - every race win and record set using a Merc engine. He's gonna be their unofficial 'mascot' for many years to come after hanging up his helmet.

Hamilton was on the Daily Show today, sorry for the crappy YouTube share, it was great content here. It starts at the 16 minute mark or so. I didn't know that Lewis was instrumental in bringing Tommy Hilfiger to the team and then arranged a deal for him to design his own line. His line sold 77% of all the mens line clothing sold for Tommy Hilfiger's fall sales!

Thanks for that WB. Crappy sound quality but well worth persevering with.
Have you noticed that the ‘Hamilton should concentrate on his driving’, brigade have gone very very quiet of late.

LEWIS LEWIS LEWIS LEWIS LEWIS!!!!!
Most complete driver I've ever seen on track since I started watching F1 in 1998. Schumacher in his prime couldn't hold a candle to the Lewis of today, and I say this with my whole heart - Lewis deserves to beat the 7X WDC record of Schumacher. His insane speed when he needs it, his race craft when he needs it, his coolness when he needs to accept defeats on track - We saw all of this in 2018, whole f*cking package.
So now it's been 11 years since Ferrari won anything. Aaaahahahahahahaha!
(can't have a post without some maranello bashing can I)

I hope you get to see the vid in this tweet. It’s very moving. Juan Manuel Fangio the second presents Lewis with a trophy Fangio won after his fifth title.
