Quali for the last race of the season is on now... The race this afternoon will decide Drivers Champion...between Piquet jnr. di Grassi & Buemi... he is the only driver to have won 3 races. I'm hoping Buemi wins...

I find myself with a sneaky liking of Piquet . I've always quiet liked him from GP2 ( not as much as Lewis of course) I watched him at Brands when it was that national team racing, was it called A racing? I've forgotten now. But we were right near the front watching and he was really good with the crowds, waving a lot. And he's incedibly good looking and a bit of a bad boy.

Well that's was a mixed bag.
The 60minute race was great and with the fight for th championship was a brilliant 29 laps racing.
As a spectator sport it was awful. There were 3 general admission zones A B and C. All generally the same size. We were in zone A.
In total there was probably about 20-30meters of track side viewing available in ZoneA. That was to the 100s of spectators in that zone.
We spent the race in the "Ezone" watching it on a big screen.
Appalling.
And the crowd marshalling was diabolical too.

That was an amazing race.....well it was on the tele. What a shame they didn't sort out the spectating a bit better. Lots going on there it was exciting and uncertain till the very end. Some great battles. I think Nelson deserved that on today's driving. And how great that Sam ended up with the win!!

In a decade, you'll be hard pressed to find a new car that isn't an all electric or electrically boosted.

Its the most doable future
except in lalaland where Ferrari will dominate using bio fuels that reduce carbon at the same time as emitting it!

I'm just watching highlights of Formula E. Furst race if the season in Beijing. Really good! I find my favourites are Senna, Vergne and Bird. And actually I like Piquet. EDIT: that Renault E Dams car looks so fast. Locked out the front row and Buemi won from pole. Nick Prost screwed up and broke his rear wing. I'm not overly impressed with Prost, a lot of mistakes in a dominant car. He's not my favourite, maybe it's it's a bit of a hangover with me from not being very keen on his dad.
