Okay this one is for real. Thankfully we can get back to racing, Vettel takes full responsibility for the matter (something he wasn't man enough to do last Sunday for some reason) and his appologists can stop blaming everyone but the birthday boy.

I'm warning you again, don't do it again or else! I'm glad it's over. Love how they tried to sweep the black flag comment from the stewards under the rug.

I doubt it'll be under the rug internally, it's a problem they'll need to address.

So he's got away with it. With being a petulant, unpredictable, dangerous little baby. Whitewash.
Can't wait to see his reception at Silverstone, the arse!

Okay, so he's got away with it. I now need to change my interforum prediction and slip the little weasel in somewhere.

Utter crap. We have an expression.... kissed on the dick. Let's just see if the FIA actually stick to their guns this time and go straight to the FIA IT if Vettel rages again. Personally, I'd love to see the other driver needle him for the rest of the year to try and get a response.. especially Max and Kyvat

I knew its going to be some BS like this. Goddamn ferrari and their rabid 'fanpower' enables them to get away with all this crap.
On public roads, the perpetrator would be in cuffs. On a racing track he just needs to apologize. What a scam.

It's okay, we're now able to say to any Ferrari fan that they have a pussy for a driver. What's he apologizing for? Hamilton brake checked him! Okay, let's move on to the remainder of the year where Mercedes comfortably runs away with this. It's already happening we'd have seen it were it not for the embarrassment that we had to endure. anyway, who am I to judge his most sincerest apology.

With one thing or another, I haven't felt inspired to write any F1 poetry over the last year or so. However on a long walk today ( very long 14 miles+) I felt the old juices reawakening. I'll see how it progresses and post in the poetry thread if it gets finished. In the meantime, a little ditty...
Vet, Vet, you really are wet,
Rear- ending Hamilton, what a damn tit!
Then pull round and ram him, you silly little plonker,
Oh Sebastian Vettel, you really are a wanker!

Seen what they've done to Sagan for cheating and turning in on a competitor ( on a bike not an F1 car!) Banned from the whole Tour de France! . Tour de France don't mess around like the FIA!

I actually just put something in the "everything else" section on this and others.... it's been a week for "red mist" in all sorts of sports.

This is a perfect example of how F1 has made a mockery of itself, just look at all of the tour de france posts everywhere and then the comment section making all on about F1 & Vettel ramming into Hamilton.

Actually, I think the TdF judges have gone too far the other direction; the statement from the Jury Chief basically said "the world champion should know better". he was punished to that degree BECAUSE he was a world champ, while others (including Cav himself) have gotten away with worse in previous races. Vettel was given a lesser penalty because he's a WDC contender. Both are as bad as each other.
I actually liked what one journalist out here said (and I paraphrase here): "In situations like this, and not just the TdF, the judging panel needs to look at Person X and Person Y in this situation only. Forget status, character, previous incidents, or any outside factor. All that matters is the incident. Then, once all that is taken care of, sporting bodies can look at the individual and say "ok, he's got a history of this" and punish accordingly."
