- Simplified front wing, with a larger span, and low outwash potential
- Simplified front brake duct with no winglets
- Wider and deeper rear wing
Not entirely sure about the immediate effects but the crash between Ricciardo and Verstappen on Sunday is a perfect example of what happens when you lose front wing. How they're going to cope with these new regs for braking and getting heat into the tires as well as getting them to bite for guys that like to turn their cars around will be interesting. The solution may simply be more aggressive angle of attack but this will have an impact for sure. It's such a self inflicted dilemma, you want Indy style overtaking but you want to remain the zenith of racing technology. They do go against one another towards the equality and overtaking goals.
