Hi there, as requested I'll happily say a few words about myself: I'm a motorsport fan since my very early years since my father had a garage where had the honour to grow up amidst all kinds of classic cars. Still remember that I had my very first driver lesson at the age of 4, steering an E-Type along a dirt road outside my hometown while sitting on the lap of my father on the drivers seat. Well, being a passionate player of Fantasy Sports for a few years, foremost Fantasy Premier league, I felt the world lacked an adequate offer for Formula 1. So I just have completed a couple of days ago the development of my own Fantasy F1 Online Manager at www.f1om.com. It's a game from fans for fans, playing is totally free of charge and should work on all devices as I made all pages fully responsive. If you like what you see, feel invited to join the show. Looking forward to have a nice time here with you, George

Welcome, welcome, welcome George. Glad to have you on board. We like games!! I’ll take a look at your game. There’s something it has to be....for me.......easy to work! We generally have a couple of prediction games going on. I’m sure details will be forthcoming soon. You may like to take a look. So c’mon who’s your fav?

thanks for the warm welcome. I hope that F1om is somewhat self-explaining, at least I put small tutorial textes in every game menu and added an extensive FAQ. In my test runs people complained most on their poor prediction skills, not much on the game layouts But I'm happy for any feedback to improve F1om further! Honestly, being pampered with for example fantasy.premierleague.com and similar professional fantasy managers, I wasn't very fond of any existing F1 prediction games, because they either had utterly complicated points schemes or an impaired UX or a very shallow gameplay. So I tried many of them but backed off very fast. The only prof. game I recall is gppredictor.com, but there you really just can predict exact positions but I favour holding my own fantasy team and lead it through a season rather than just guessing positions

Welcome George. I'll check out the site for sure, but besides that, I gotta say that you got cars in the blood. I love the story. I have it in my veins as well, have an old Porsche that I've restored and do Autocross events with but sadly both my kids could care less about cars.
What's wrong with these kids!

Hi Wß, looking forward to welcome you in the game What Porsche do you have restored? It's also interesting that you mention Autocross because back then in that garage of my old man there were quite a few dirt racers with their frightening vehicles. I would have loved to get behind the wheel one of them for sure but my mother that time prevented it after she learned about our trip with the E-Type

It's an 1986 911.
As promised I signed up, I'll play a few rounds and give you feedback. Management games like these based on a fixed cost are always difficult to balance. You want to be able to manage, but you don't want too many moving parts. it's also got to give you the ability to come back. So many of them tend to reward the teams that picked right and got the largest points haul in the opening round and then make it impossible to "come back" for others.
I can see you put a ton of work on it. Least I could do was give it a try and give you feedback.

thanks Wß, your points are noted and I happily share my considerations how we intend to deal with those concerns you have. I see them as well and we have some solutions for them Racechick, it's never too late, you may sign up anytime, but if you do before the qualifying kicks off in Melbourne in about 8 hours, you won't miss any opportunities to earn points or prize money. As you have apparently little knowledge, let me try to phrase the essentials in a few sentences: In my game you effectively build a team of 3 drivers while a tight budget is allocated to prevent picking only the drivers in the strongest cars. You are awarded points for how well your elected drivers do on each weekend (qualifying and race) and there is an additional prediction part to win prize money for each weekend. You only need an email and password to sign up, in the main menu there's a 4 point plan what you need to get done exactly in order to be fully set once the countdown runs out. You also find some tutorial sentences in each game menu that tells you all where- and whatabouts to get started quickly. Hope to see you there, currently it's an almost exclusively male event

Well I think I’ve done it Wasn’t sure what the ‘game settings’ meant and couldn’t skip them . I played a joker because it said I could. A little tip. NEVER. Insist on a girls age! I lied. Otherwise. I’m in, I think. Bring on the competition!

you've been spotted. If I'm not totally mistaken (haven't slept since a while), your onboarding hiked up the percentage of female contenders from 2.0% to 2.6% instantly .... ^^ And it's a girls privilege to lie about her age, natural hair colour or how many boyfriends she already had, so you're totally welcome to stay eternally 18 at F1om if you wish so You surely can play a joker, just remember that each of them is only available once per season. Game settings are nothing important for the game itself, you can manage there what kind of messages you want to receive from the system. Really can't wait that qualifying knocks off. Did I mention it should be raining? Will be highly interesting and truly challenging to get the predictions right!

Ah. Only one joker per season. Mmmm. I missed that bit. Ah well it’s done now. I feel lucky! Rain! Eeks, that messes things up a bit.
