Can anybody out there kindly provide me a couple of reliable links which should work for live streaming? I'm talking about actually seeing the race properly (I don't care about commentary, can be Dutch or Russian even).
The ones I know and used frequently has been lousy since these new d!ckhead owners took over....lshunter and vipbox. Vipbox was good for the first half of 2018 and then for some reason it was 50/50.
Most appreciated.

RIP Charlie Whiting.... what rotten timing. Couple of days before the flag drops for 2019. I didn't have much good things to say about him the past few years but I'm quite down hearing about this. Melbourne will be quite somber.

All I'll say, for streaming, is it depends on how "legal" you want to be!
Bit Iffy option: Using a VPN exiting in a country that offers the full package, subscribe to the packages from that nation. You will need to use the same VPN point to use the app as it checks your IP and will only allow you to view the package for the country the IP is located in.
Very Iffy option: keep an eye on the subreddit r/motorsportsstreams and using acestream, sodastream, VLC, or some are browser based

Most appreciated. I pay for IPTV, namely NecroIPTV and they seem pretty good. I've not had many issues. I do however use streams from the likes of www.reddit.com/r/motorsportsstreams Just install Ace Stream www.acestream.org and it's easy to use. I used to use morningstreams.com but they've made it invite only so I'm trying to get an invite then we can share invites around and get everyone an account xD RIP Charlie Whiting.... what rotten timing. Yeah, I was shocked to see this. I wonder if stress or recent flights increased his risks.. Hopefully F1 honor him in a special way!

Your options sound like I need to be a bit of a techie and I'm intimidated. I've mastered Microsoft Word and Powerpoint, and am an Intermediate in Excel but that's where my bucket of IT skills start turning shallow.

My mother could install ace stream & load a stream... that's saying something! You could easily do it, you're able to get on the internet! lol I personally don't think it's "iffy" at all using streams from motorsportsstreams, the one who is at risk is the one providing the stream but hey I'm not giving you guys legal advice! lol

Hammer there’s a streaming site I use. It’s very tricky to get onto it. It keeps redirecting you to other things including porno, or asking you to sign up. Don’t sign up. Just keep crossing off the little crosses that appear and trying the different links that you see. I usually get on and it’s a great feed when I do. Occasionally I’ve nit nanaged to get on. I’ll send you the link. The other thing I’m going to try this weekend is ESPN using VPN. Ive got onto ESPN as a trial run and can see the F1 schedule, it’s if I can watch when it’s live

So... what I want from this year:
Drivers
1. Leclerc to spank Vettel or at least get the better of him. 2. Gasly to spank Verstappen or at least get the better of him. 3. Kvyat to bring his A-game and be at his best! 4. Hamilton to perform just as he usually does 5. Bottas to either perform equal to Hamilton or to become the #2 driver very early on in the season. 6. Kubica to perform just as he did back in the day, I want him to be back for good! 7. Russel to be equally as fast as Kubica and for both to get better and better! 8. Ricciardo & Hulkenberg to be a match for one another, both putting in solid performances. 9. Norris to show just as much talent as Russel 10. Raikkonen to show everyone that he is still a great driver and to be crazy fast in the Alfa!
Teams:
1. Renault to have improved their engine alot, no reliability issues! 2. Alfa to be impressively fast, to be leading the midfield with Renault 3. Honda to have improved their engine even more than Renault, able to nearly match Ferrari & Mercedes! 4. Mercedes & Ferrari to be a match for eachother, I want them to both be battling eachother all year! 5. Red Bull to be hot on the heels of Ferrari & Mercedes, putting them under pressure and making it so neither of them can gamble from 4th. 6. McLaren to be much slower than Renault, I want McLaren to get spanked.
Racing
1. Closer racing, able to actually follow! 2. Way more wet races!

Can’t really disagree with any of that RyRy, pretty much the same lists I’d have drawn up.
I’ll expand on a couple starting with point1of drivers.
I’d love Leclerc to beat Vettel. I really like & rate Leclerc and think Vettel, whilst undoubtably fast , is over rated and an arse when things don’t go his way. Ferrari have said they will let them race, but in certain circumstances Leclerc will have to defer to Vettel. I can’t argue with that position, it was a similar one to the one employed by Mercedes last year. Against Lewis in a fast Mercedes Ferrari need to optimise all their options. But I wonder if certain Ferrari fans ( not all!! You know who you are! ) will be honest enough to accept their hypocrisy. It was fine to call Bottas out last year for occasionally deferring to Hamilton on team orders, but will they call out Leclerc for doing the same? Will pigs fly? I’ve already seen posts from the red blinkered brigade criticising Mercedes for ‘sandbagging’ in testing. They can do what the hell they want in testing! Anyway we will see . This will be interesting indeed to watch. ( no offence intended here to genuine Ferrari fans who are passionate and objective about their sport, I’m referring to a very particular breed)
On a similar note. Point 4 of teams ... I really hope merc and Ferrari are close. It was exciting last year watching that battle. Expect Vettel to lose his cool if the Ferrari doesn’t have the edge and Leclerc is on his pace. That will be sweet!
Bottas. He really, really needs to up his game. I think Leclerc will be a stronger 2nd driver and team points will be valuable. Last year Bottas was too far off the pace too often. I reckon if he doesn’t cut it this year he may be cut. And I like the guy, he just doesn’t excite.
Renault. A really strong driver pairing. Hulk was never an instant favourite of mine, but he’s grown on me. Ric I love to bits! I want this team to do well.
Williams. Sounding a disaster so far, which is very sad.
McLaren I would like to do well ( perhaps the only point I disagree with RyRy on) historical reasons I guess. And also because of hobnobbing with Alonso’s ( now Norris’ ) race engineer 😁
That’s all for now folks. I’ll probably think of more later.

I reckon if he doesn’t cut it this year he may be cut. And I like the guy, he just doesn’t excite. He finished 5th... whilst his teammate had 11 wins and finished 1st. Sure He would have finished 3rd if they didn't use team orders at Russia but still he wasn't on Hamiltons level and probably never will. I don't think Mercedes will renew with him regardless (unless he manages to beat Hamilton and win the championship) and instead Mercedes will take on Ocon for 2020. McLaren I would like to do well ( perhaps the only point I disagree with RyRy on) historical reasons I guess. And also because of hobnobbing with Alonso’s ( now Norris’ ) race engineer 😁 I just hate the way they handled Honda and treated them, without that I would have been on their side.

Yes, that’s a good point about Honda. I was just thinking nostalgically.

Did you see how quickly he jumped up in Media with "I will be an Ambassador in 2019" and offering to test the car etc etc etc..... Slimy little prick wants to make sure he has a huge door to wander back in if the package gets them back in the top 4!

The moment he patted his tyres in parc ferme gloating that Nurburgring 2005 race where Kimis suspension snapped on the last lap, I just wished this guy got his just rewards. Glad to say he got them.
