I'm not saying that there weren't better options... just that Ferrari left it late... Grosjean, Hulkenbuerg, Sainz were all under contract by Hungary. I actually went through all Ferrari drivers not that long ago and I think i came up with something like 5 drivers with less than a full season of racing in F1 prior to joining the team since the 60's. Even when drivers had a nasty habit of not surviving for the full season, Ferrari would poach rather than promote.

The way Kimi tried to compromise Mercedes tires warm up in Q3 last lap was really really poor from him but this is the game and it worked a bit.
