'In Formula 1, luck and bad luck do not exist. The latter is nothing more than the sum of elements or situations that we have not known or could foresee' - Enzo Ferrari

Didn't Red Bull have a video out last year as to how making one bolt, just one bolt involved dozens of people and processes and quality checks etc. And they made this bolt in house. So Marchionne says that "It's a problem we've probably ignored over time because it was never of much importance." Why would anyone in his position, in a team supposedly batting for a championship say anything to fucking retarded?

Yeah when I read that I was thinking maybe it's just his English where he wasn't expressing his point properly. Because if he really meant it the way he said, I'm surprised Ferrari are even in 2nd position in the championships this year.

It's not a translation problem, he's was the head of Chrysler Fiat in North America and he's lived in Canada most of his life. More like what happens when you mix ignorance and arrogance with a heaping spoonful of obstinance. Precidely why people like Brawn wouldn't go back and people like James Allison run away.

Why would anyone in his position, in a team supposedly batting for a championship say anything to fucking retarded? Because he is used to dealing with Ferrari road cars, and quality isn't always #1 or even #2 priority on a Ferrari road car! Look good, sound good, go fast, who cares if bits fall off?

Italians have a flair for the dramatic. Next season may mark the 10th consecutive season without a win for the brand, I'll be pulling for them though to show up with a competitive car just as they did this year. With some Red Bull, and perhaps McLaren and Renault sprinkled in for good measure.

I suggest firing the entire senior management at Ferrari and starting fresh. Fire both drivers too. There's nothing like starting fresh.

One thing I hate above everything else is hypocrisy. Give me an out and out scumbag, over a lying scumbag who virtue signals, evertime! With that in mind, I wonder if Tifosa who bump their gums about Mercedes advantage and the unfairness of it all( simply because they did a better job on engines) will quieten down now that race pace of the cars seems pretty similar among the top three teams ( with Ferrari slightly ahead) and Ferrari also edging it on one lap pace.......ON A POWER TRACK. Good luck to Ferrari I say, let’s hope they’ve got their act together and are providing a challenge. But the rose tinted Tifosa??? Silence?? On another note. Liberty are cutting the unfair advantage Ferrari have in receiving money just for being Ferrari from 100MIL to 40MIL. It’s an outrage that Ferrari ever had that money anyway. But from the Ferrari hypocrites....it’s fine. As for Ferrari guess what? If their money for nothing is cut.... FERRARI THREATEN TO QUIT

It's not fair until the advantage swings their way.

Well waddayaknow? From the rough translations I've seen around Ferrari is getting an additional jolt from their battery packs for qualifying, an estimated 20 additional HP gain when they deploy it on top of the roughly 163 HP allowed.
Interesting to see how this winds up before Monaco.

Tut, tut, tut. Ferrari aren’t pushing the rules are they? Surely not. That doesn’t sound like Ferrari? Those whinging about the tyre situation...which was requested by very many teams incl Ferrari, wonder what they think about winglets on mirrors and tricky stuff with batteries? Defeating silence I suspect.

Some people think Ferrari is using the supraconductivity (techno fiction) or the Tesla solution with fuel cells coupled to motors, a little bit like batteries of bikes with electrical assistance. The extra lever under Vettel's steering wheel might play a role then. These are just hypotheses.
