Gene Haas has not ruled out signing Danika Patrick for his new F1 teamnext season, should she be able to attract a big-name sponsor... www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/118954Haas also said "But our goal is we're going racing, whether sponsored or not."

I thought Danika had pretty much ruled herself out of F1, but who knows, if the offer came along it may be too difficult to resist. I'd like to see how she goes in an F1 car.

If Danika comes to F1 with Hass that would get theme a LOT of sponsorship options, it sounds like a good idea at least for the first two years.

I don't know. But if they can fast track a 17 year old who hasn't got a road license Im sure they can fast track Danica with the car racing experience she's got.

Interestingly , just as we were discussing Hass I came across Will Buxton's article weighing up potential drivers for the team. ( he mentions Danica and he mentions Superlicences ) He thinks Hass will want an Americn driver and he goes through the possibilities. He thinks they also want a big hitting experienced driver, so he goes through those options as well. A good read as usual from Buxton. willthef1journo.wordpress.com/2015/05/13/genes-genies/

Oh man, if JEV came back to.F1, I would be pleased. In honesty, I think he should've gone to Red Bull this year. I have always had some kind of incline to his talent so seeing him back F1 is a plus.

Erm...,? Bless ya haha. People need to remember that Hass manufacturer hundreds of parts so pretty much everything they'll produce in house and if they get some good sponsors they can pile money in just like Ferrari do and maybe being that they are an American team get an idea that European teams haven't though of. We have some serious competition growing in F1 which could become huge sooner or later. McLaren Honda (Honda will get there eventually, they have the backing of a top top team) Ferrari (We all know that Ferrari will be pretty much up there all the time with the amount of money they throw at the sport and the current share of funds) Red Bull (Who hopefully will be bought out by Audi/VK sometime, mixing their aero with a new engine, WEC knowledge and very strong knowledge in hybrid systems could prove a mighty force) Mercedes (One of the best engine providers, very decent with aero and have a lot of money they can throw at the sport if they want) Hass F1 (Potentially a huge challenger they just need to find someone to give them a top class engine with equal parity to other teams and then slowly build to becoming a big team, potential for a lot of american backing so they could well become the biggest F1 team and they also bring a lot more American interest for the sport and other teams) Renault (Another big manufacturer, could throw lots of money in if they wanted) The only teams who I think will stay a mid-back end teams are Williams (they really need to get their own engine supplier to be able to do anything worthwhile, Force India, Toro Rosso and Manor, the only thing that might help Manor is if Mercedes use them as a B team as everyone loves an underdog coming up through and spanking them. Honda usually build some of the best, most reliable engines like their road cars for example are by far the most reliable. Can you guys imagine if we had all of the follow engine manufacturers competing against eachother! Daimler/Mercedes Renault Ferrari BMW Ford General Motors Suzuki Peugeot/Citreon Volkswaggen Honda Fiat Hyundai Nissan Toyota Chrysler Mazda Mitsubishi

Haas announcing their driver lineup Tuesday.
I'm going with the worst kept secret at the moment. Gutierrez and Grosjean.

Someone has to pull some strings and get Danica in that Haas seat, just really want to see a female racing in the sport and if anyone woman got what it takes then its her. But I'm with WB, its Grosjean and Gutierrez, Think Vergne has to eye off a Renault seat, if there even is a Renault of course.

I'd like Danica to have a go, but she's said she won't. Its unfortunate, she has said that quite clear that she has no interest. I think she is a better driver in a open wheeler than in Nascar, she wasting her time there IMO, rather see her back in Indycar or better yet F1 but hey, each to their own i guess.
