I've been going against the grain so far this year with Max. Seeing racecraft more in his teammate than him even though he's been clearly quicker, especially in qualifying. This weekend however he was phenomenal on track with overtakes and braking moves that were flawless. He consistently made moves hitting perfect breaking points and tight lines. I'm enjoying the midfield battles immensely, Toro Rosso & Sauber are giving us a fantastic show.

Max from the start of this year has impressed me, he's still a bit risky but he's got balls and he is certainly talented.
Just look at Monaco qualifying and practice sessions and again at Canada and again here at Austria.

The most hilarious thing I've seen on the F1 site yet. Loving that.

Yeah, from a maturity standpoint, I just don't think he's there yet. Monaco and other incidents this year. He's a racer and he's quick though.

I just can't support him...it's a mixture of bitterness at his good fortune and his grumpy arrogant looking face. I know I'm being a judgemental b!tch but I can't help being honest.
Lol

Old is always 20 years older than whatever age you are at the time.

it is to a 28 year old. who'd be considered old by an 8 year old. But a 14 year old would seem old to an 8 year old?

Yeah but there's a cool kind of old... a 14 year old would be cool to an 8 year old. Kind of like I want to be him, a 28 year old on the other hand would just be old and creepy.

I do like this guy. There's a feature on him now on BBC pre qulifying programme. Him and his dad. They have all his old karts and trophies there. His dad is talking about their journey to F1. When max gets back from races, back home, he gets in a race car seat and plays F1 racing, it's like his own little simulator. He does it for about 3 or 4 hours. But guess which car he's in! The number 44 Mercedes. I think this guy is very special.

I've always liked his attitude, he's confident, cheeky, honest, mature yet still shows his youth and he sounds rather clever.

He was supposed to be doing some online racing for Red Bull, anyone know how he did?

Max Verstappen practiced his Blachimont overtake on rFactor... I thought he seems to be a bit ballsy like it was a racing game and even Bundle mentioned it. I had no idea he played games like iRacing.
Apparently Jos and Max both play rFactor and use it for home-simulation training for tracks. I know a lot of pro drivers do race in iRacing/rFactor but would have thought for someone like Max who has been using proper simulators that he wouldn't need to do home-simulation training.
