If they gave me full access to all of their data and feeds... and gave me a budget of £15,000 I could contract and design a fucking awesome insane application for them, so much so that they'd orgasm on sight of it.

I'm sure their budget was at least twenty fold that amount. That's what's pathetic.

Here's another reason why F1 has a bit of a negative image from some core fans.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/32719280FOM... Drivers to ask fans how they can spice things up... IMO...never mind the spice, for starters...return of full free-to-air tv & cheaper seats at race weekends...

Some countries use comma instead of full stop and vice versa - it used to be most annoying, but thankfully most spreadsheets take this into account now

Dunno, personally I think the comma makes sense, it can not be confused with a decimal point.

Does anyone know what the situation is in regards to engine development for 2016, So from what I understand is that the engine freeze kicks in February 28th next year, Is that correct?

There is no loophole for next year as the freeze date has been declared this time round. So the engine freeze, like we have had for the last decade, should be back in place after about 3 out of 4 years of unlimited development (apart from (2014)on the V6s since inception.
However according to Horner Renault are threatening to quit if they cant have unlimited spending and development in 2016 (despite having developed the least by far of all the makers even during the unfrozen recent period)

What is to stop Renault selling the engine design to Redbull. Redbull have has many tokens/money as they want to spend, then enter the sport as a new engine manufacturer next year.

Despite the fact we clearly can't, we want every opportunity to be able to make the best engine in this new regulation formula.

Well said by the Todster... Especially with all the accolades being thrown at the WEC by the same people that inexplicably complain about the engine sound in F1.
