No there's no people , we're right at the top of the grandstand, behind those bars is a big drop down to the floor, way down, and wandering about down there are people going to get food etc. Maybe it's the trees in the distance you can see? You walk up through stairs at the back of the grandstand and arrive at the front bottom of the grandstand ( it's all raised up) then you turn 180 degrees and There's steps up through the grandstand seating itself front to back. Does that make sense?

You see people below my legs!!! Actually I Think I see what you mean, maybe. That's down on the floor below , people walking about and it's just the angle the photos is taken from. And talking of legs and angles, my legs ARE NOT actually that fat. That is also the angle the photo is taken from. Really. It is!!

LOL! Yes they are people, but they aren't behind us, they're down on the ground, way down. Look how small they are, they are back from the stand an down on the floor. The perspective distorts it.

I was 99% sure they were people and yet you guys made me think I was going crazy haha But yeah, were there any people wondering around out there during the race? (I assume you must have turned round at some point and spotted)

Yes there were and that always amazes me. Why would you be wandering about out there when the race is on??

Yes there were and that always amazes me. Why would you be wandering about out there when the race is on?? Exactly, my eyes would be firmly on the track/tv screen and maybe now and again down at phone/tablet or at the person beside me (when talking). Even if I was really hungry, I wouldn't go get something to eat and come back... I'd wait and eat after. Seems a waste of money not watching it all.

There's plenty of time to get food before the race, though the queues are long then of course. But it's not difficult to avoid buying food and drink for that couple of hours. Yet people are in and out all the time, toilet breaks too I guess....put a peg on it!!

A lot of people that go to a GP aren't FANS, they go in support or accompaniment of their significant other or friend or just go to do something for that day or two. It's beyond me.

Fantastic Article RC I loved reading all of this. And the pictures are fabulous. Nice HD Snaps is what I like to see If I am going next year, I promise on my life I'll make up for last year ha! I knew you were a bit frightened to imagine the start and as soon as Massa made the jump on Lewis, I could imagine you sank like the Titanic. Seems like you had a blast Just 351 days to go until the next one

Really really good pieced of writing racechick. I didn't know you were such a good writer. I'm going to stay away from the articles section I think. Dylsexia and articles don't mix.
It makes me want to go back to Silverstone after reading that. It's been far too long!
BTW, The amount of times this must have been read, how has nobody spotted your homophobic spelling mistake?
