So who do you guys think will "struggle" with these cars and vice versa.
We saw in 2014 that Vettel wasn't able to adjust for the new cars like most of the other drivers.
Remember that we're now going back towards the pre-2009 era style of car. We could see Vettel, Hamilton, Alonso, Massa, Raikkonen all step their game up. Who knows we might get the old Raikkonen and the old Massa back (no puns intended).
I personally think Hamilton, Ricciardo, Hulkenburg, Botttas, Raikkonen, Perez, Sainz, Stroll, Massa and maybe also Magnussen and Vandoorne will really shine!
I also think Vettel, Ocon, Grosjean, Verstappen, Kvyat, Palmer, Ericsson will not do as well we would normally expect, they'll struggle in comparison to the above.
As for the drivers who are yet to be confirmed as racing next year, I hold no judgement on them until they're confirmed. (Massa isn't confirmed but it's pretty much a guarantee already)

This is the best 2017 regulation summary video I've seen so far. Good clear explanation from Peter Windsor.

He also skipped over loads of points and never mentioned that with the extra barge boards, bigger floor, bigger front wing the dirty air will be pretty similar in proportions
The biggest benefit is the in/exit cornering speed as this is where most of the time is lost when following another car.

It's a summary video for the less technically inclined! Seriously I'm not entirely sure things won't remain the same. The bottom line will be whether or not the appx 75% increase in rear diffuser area will be enough to make up for the turbulence while following closely. This will also make late braking an even more thrilling thing to watch and it will benefit drivers that can keep the car maxed to the last possible point. If the tires are able to hold with the added track and more durable rubber it may be a good solution. I think it's entirely possible to have a very positive formula with what they've got, we'll have to see. And if nothing changes, then we've got faster cars, that are more difficult to drive and look a hell of a lot better standing still. Cautiously optimistic, that's me.

Great timing to lodge a complaint by the ultimate sore losers! Reminding me of the old 1998-2005 Ferrari again, at least in the off track department.

Good old fashioned common sense, so it's bound to never happen.

I'd love watch them racing without all the pussy regs. That really word sort the men from the mouthers.

Yeah, I've never believed in Blue Flags.

I have to heavily disagree with that....it'd be a disaster to see the blue flags disappear.
The races will be destroyed and littered with controversy thanks to the partnerships between Merc/Ferrari/Renault factory teams and their customer midfield teams.
This shit can only work if every single team out there manufacturers and runs their outfit 100% with no dependence on anyone else.

Bottas is a tough guy to overtake, much tougher than Rosberg I think. He's not really aggressive per say, but a great defensive driver. I think Lewis should be able to handle him in qualifying but if he has starting issues again, Bottas can cause problems.

Rosberg did improve but one thing Bottas is good at is not cracking under pressure.
I expect Hamilton to stomp on him this year, I hope he doesn't but Bottas needs to get comfortable with a new team, new car and he will feel the pressure of having to take over from a world champion against a 3x wdc.
Bottas needs to come out in testing and go for it, set the fastest laps and likewise in Australia he needs to get pole and maybe the win as it will boost him more.
People never understand how much importance confidence plays

I think the biggest story we're not talking about is braking. The distances this year are going to be shorter, the Gs higher and the brakes have been beefed up by something like 25% so stand up to the additional thermal forces seen because they'll be braking from higher speeds.
Late breakers rejoice, overtaking might be a little more difficult but only for those drivers that rely on DRS.

When considering which tyres to get with my new rims, Pirelli never even entered my mind. Debating between Contis and Michelin.
Though mind you, before they joined F1 I thought they were easily Top 3 on this planet.
