Congrats on domination of the lower series that puts Max and the others since Lewis in the shade. Its criminal that he is kept out of an F1 seat by drivers past their best
Hopefully he will become McLarens reserve driver for 2016 - which must come with high chance of replacing one of the WDCS should the team find themselves behind Manor and Haas.

He's very good. Should have a seat.

You can't simply displace drivers like Button and Raikkonen that are still putting in fine performances each and every GP weekend.

This is what Buxton says about Vandoorne. Endorses what CookinFlat6 said back in October.

Alonso was given preferential treatment for upgrades nine times out of ten last year, which was the team's doing, but I have never seen Vandoorne say a word about that. It is unlikely he would have ended in the points just because it is so hard to overtake in Monaco, I dont say he has not a right to be upset with the team over his strategy but saying that given the situation will have zero impact on the team. If Vandoorne wants to be world champion material one day… Its not by doing catastrophic prestation like in Monaco for people who can remember his performance.

Worst driver on the grid so far this season ?
Edit - Will be interesting to see if the change bode well for Vandoorne.
