Mercedes have undeniably done the best at acing the latest era of F1 cars, to be fair to Mercedes though they were slowly making gains on the other teams on the old era.

I have to say, the thought of Horner hanging out with Whitmarsh next year does have its appeal.

Little except from Mark Webber's book. I remember those 2 Grand prix quite well, still have them on my hard drive. Webber dominated in both Barcelona and Monaco. If it weren't for the safety cars at Monaco Mark would've won by 40 seconds in that race. I think later in the 2010 season Mark had to revert to Seb's cracked chassis, Only if he didn't screw up in Korea he could've beaten him to the WDC with the cracked chassis, ohh well... wasn't to be.

How is it "long time'? What is long time in F1? Infinity became a title sponsor in 2012 or something like that. I should read the entirety of the post... Anyway, long time... 2013. Go figure.

I'm just going to leave this one here... saw it yesterday on Planet F1 and it's on ESPN today, the Horner butt-hurt must be excruciating.

Of course he was desperate to join Red Bull, so was every other driver. Half of them wanted to join because they had a chance at driving a top car where as the other half like Alonso and Hamilton wanted to go toe to toe with Vettel and prove that they are better.
Still a pretty butthurt statement from Horner.

It baffles the mind all the whinning and crying and complaining and bad PR from what is essentially a PR company. Instead of the stiff upper lip thing and just working through and giving Renault 100% support for at least the four consecutive double championships they got with them. Now things seems to be pretty good??? Really?
:headhunglow:
Red Bull's 2015 season was the most embarrassing behavior I've ever seen from an F1 team, let a lone a top team. This is just a snippet from the full story but it's the baffling part.

Not every F1 team owner/principal is an asshole, but there is a preponderance of assholes in the current F1 owner/principal positions. They can't possibly make more concessions to the regulations than have already been made, I'm at the point of wishing Honda moves inline with Ferrari so they can also challenge, just to accentuate what whinny pricks the entire Red Bull organization have been about this.

Seriously? This is just downright embarrassing. What's the point in continuing when your team threatened to leave if they didn't get a better engine for 2016 and what they settled on was the same engine with a Tag Heuer sticker on it. I mean seriously how about we talk about the fact that the real unwillingness is from Red Bull no wanting to bite the bullet and help their engine partner that handed them 8 championships in 4 years now build and develop a better engine even if it means not winning a race for two years. I don't hear McLaren or Williams complaining. And Ferrari has shown that the engine can be developed under the massively relaxed regulations. Frontrunner sorry man, I feel for Ricciardo and Kyviat but this team has just soiled their reputation beyond any validation.
