I have to say I'm a bit torn about this. What they've been doing with the resources they have is nothing short of miraculous for the team. I'm thinking however that the reason, the only reason to do this is because they're dangling a sale of the team or a BMW Sauber type partnership with a manufacturer taking a step towards a works team.
I know this guy is shady AF, but I have to admire the commitment and tenacity towards funding the team at all costs. The heart of a racer, livin the thug life. Kudos!
Financial Times - "Vijay Mallya, the flamboyant Indian beer and airline tycoon, has been accused in a London court of money laundering, with funds lent to aid his ailing air carrier Kingfisher Airlines allegedly going to his Force India Formula One motor racing team."
When you are torn between choices, always pick the one that will make the best story. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
