Hamilton clearly has the psychological edge over Rosberg ahahahaha In the F1 pantomime.... I don't think Nico is a good choice to play the villian...he has always been Mr squeaky clean...& most people liked him. But from Monaco last year...he has tried to get the better of Lewis by anyway possible....& it's not working! And Nico didn't handle the booing etc..very well last year...Schumie & Vettel didn't care. It's difficult to keep the betting shops prosperous.....with the best driver in the best machinery.....

The booing definitely got to Nico but I'd have to disagree I think it got to Vettel too, it would get to anyone and everyone regardless of how arogant you are.

I think the booing most definately got to Nico, I think he was completely taken aback by it and he would think twice about acting in a way that may reinstigate that. I think basically Nico is ok, and he acted out of desperation both at Monaco and Spa. I think Lewis would be equally affected where he ever to be booed. The ones I think wouldn't give a damn are Alonso and in his day, Schumacher. Vettel, I'd put him somewhere between the two camps.

Out of curiosity, who's been the most booed F1 driver to get on the podium? Vettel has to be in contention for the title there.

Schumacher was regularly booed at Silverstone.

I'd go with Vettel too. But if you include teams in this poll, Ferrari should win it hands down thanks largely to Austria, USA and Herr Schumi.

I do think it's time for people let go and stop booing. It's old news now - whatever it is thy are booing.

Agreed. They were booing Lewis as well. Don't know what it was all about.

I think if Kate Upton was on the podium baring her lovely girl parts, there would be some booing. That lot was just in a mood...not sure why.

They all woke up to th reality that without some RBR illegalities, Ricc is just another good F1 driver behind Lewis, Nico, Seb, Massa, Kimi, Carlos, Max, Bottas. And ofcourse most of them will be Kiwi Mclaren fans, all tanked up on watered down Fosters from the early morning barbecue
Hopefully theyll get back to hooning or boycotting or whatever till next years race

If Nico doesn't get the upper hand in the first handful of races, I think this season will not feature the back and forth WDC lead changes we saw last year. Unless Nico can dig deep into his bag of tricks, I think the Monaco trick had a shelf life of one use. Only DNFs will make this season competitive.

Sorry. Let me get this right.
He didn't win because he didn't get pole - erm. How many poles did he get last year ? And how many of those did he convert to wins?
And he had the speed but couldn't overtake? Erm. He couldn't overtake because, as far as I saw, he never got closer than 1.5s. I never seen anyone overtake when 1.5s behind.

He needs more number 2 coaching if he wants to sound credible beyond another race or so. He forgot to mntion that he spent most of the winter in the sim working on fuel saving and race pace to 'take it to Lewis' in the races.
Unfortunately he must have forgotten what he learnt because he was still having to ask the team about Lewis' fuel usage status, I think after he had cleverly saved fuel all race then later in the day after it got cooler and he was on his preferred prime tyre, he turned the engine up and closed up to Lewis. Unfortunately, the dastardly Lewis must have saved some fuel also because he was able to burn fuel and instantly increase the gap again.
Unfortunately Nico must have forgotten that the radio rules prohibit being informed of your teammates fuel state, so the team ha to refuse o tell him and he had to back off in case he ran out of fuel chasing down a Lewis that had at least the same as him left
Thats the good thing about being so cerebral, so many options, so many different solutions to think about, and one of them is likely to be the best solution (as long as the other guy hasnt already picked it first time out by 'accident')

And here is Allan Twatnish to set the ball rolling with the inanities, thanks Allan, it was just starting to gt a bit boring without some h8rz to laugh at Ofcourse it is as you say so Well I never! Surely brainbox is not implying Nico needs to start cheating and getting booed again as a sound strategy? It obviously worked so well last year He is serious, Rosberg went on a run? Not a run of wins, he overall outscored Lewis by about 6 or 7 points over those races due to Lewis dnfs and unreliability, a run of what? ?? Left right and center? I seem to recall a stat along the lines of Lewis winning every time he started on the front row bar once. And I recall Nico hnding back th points diffeence for starting on pole almost every time, ah well, never mind, Lewis is different, gotta not only remove slack thats not there but cut some for Nico at the same time Nico messed up quali and was out classed, and out 'fuel-save for latter attack-ed', but the issue was Lewis made no mistake? ok Lewis amplifys his mistakes? by presumably making them a few times more in quick succession, or by making a series of inter linked mistakes? And Nico makes no mistakes ever and is just waiting to pounce from the gearbox position? Lets hope Nico doesnt press the wrong ERS button when trying to overtake a slower car or even press the wrong button when trying to overtake an equal car Thanks Twatnish for at least crawling out from cover, more of the same please

These people are supposed to know what they're talking about, and they just make up rubbish. He rivals brundle this one does. Do they think it makes them sound clever? Can they not hide their dislike of Lewis' success? Do they feel they have to liven up a season that's not even started with falsities? Maybe we should run a pole on why the likes of Brundle, McNish, Davison and the 'somewhat improved of late' Coulthard et Al put on this performance when the opportunity arises.
