It is now looking scarily like it might happen. What an awful choice of leader you have in the US this time round. What a dilemma!

Don't rub it in. We like to throw the term "leader of the free world" around a lot, so it's a global burden.

Are any of us really "free"?

Are any of us really "free"? Fantastic question, and the answer is a resounding no. I would love to bore you to death writing an essay about how the 90% are controlled by the 10% but I rather recommend a great read: Robert Kiyosaki - 8 new rules of money. It's not just about money and making money, most of it is about the conspiracy of keeping people stupid about money, how it all began from the early 1900s. Read it, it's awesome. BTW his book 'Rich dad poor dad' is overrated, its ok but nothing special.

I like to think of money as sand blowing on a beach, it collects in some areas and blows from other areas, nothing to do with anything other than being in the right place at the right time really and then building from there. A lot of analogies to nature really.
Like evolution, if you set the rules up a certain way, some with thrive, others struggle. Change the rules again due to some external influence, and the balance changes, sometimes dramatically.
We, really anyone with access to this forum is in the top 5% in a global perspective and that right there is the issue, as long as there are masses of the global population that can be exploited to build a cheaper iPhone or make a cheaper white cotton t-shirt corporations will be looking to make a profit from their cheap labor.

So in other words, Wß, you are going to vote for Hillary?

It's funny because the presidential candidate I supported would have been the worst for my wallet, but the best for my quality of life.
No, not voting for Hillary. Not voting for Trump either.

Who will win the presidency? This isn't a willy-nilly poll, this guy is pretty well respected if not mainstream at this point after their third presidential election cycle.

Now I really am going to show my stupidity here.
I thought your presidential elections where only a two-horse race?
Who is this Johnson fella ?!

I thought it was now a two horse race too.
I have another question. Why did Donald Trump's fancy bit copy Michelle Obama's speech? surely Trump can afford speech writers who could do better than just copy? Or was it deliberate for the publicity?

I'd already seen your stupidity, so don't feel bad. Gary JohnsonHe's some moderate ass middle aged old white guy who at this point has more credibility... far more than either of the choices he's running on the Libertarian ticket. There's also Jill Stein, the Green party, pretty much the Bernie Sanders' stance without the charm and therefore not even mentioned in the polling. I think she'll exceed expectations given how many of Sander's supporters despise the manipulation that's been handed to them.

Man I think if I were an American and elections were held tomorrow, I'd be voting for Donald Drumpf.

Thankfully you're not. I'm probably not going to cast a presidential vote.

But....you're going to get one of them. Would you prefer a clown (who still needs bills passing through Congress for approval) or a witch with ingrained power (and established contacts) in Congress taking the post. Btw, I saw a video recently which made me really....uh, see a whole new side to Clinton. Wait let me find it.
