Somethings kicking off in Turkey. Both bridges across the Bosphorous are closed with no explanation given and jets are flying round Ankara. That's the only news so far, breaking news on the BBC. This is all they've said.........
Both of the main bridges in the Turkish city of Istanbul have been closed by security forces, reports say. Traffic has been stopped from crossing both the Bosphorus and Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridges, but no reasons have been given. There are also reports of military aircraft flying over the capital Ankara, with gunshots heard. It is unclear if the events are related and there has been no official information so far on the deployments.

We don't want him!
I think WB has something to do with this!!
The guy running the coup ( funny name, something like Petula Goola ) has been living in Pensylvania!

Boris might have some more poetry for him.
Reports of a helicopter being shot down by an F16 and police killed in an attack at a base.

Things are changing really quickly. Each side keeps saying that they're winning. Says they're opening the airport for international flights soon.
Also says it's not all the military in it. So that could end up in civil war.
No hearing a bomb has hitvoarliamwnt in Ankara.

Call me selfish but I hate Turkey right now. So there I was last night, checking on my trades...everything going according to plan, this morning I wake up and see Gold had jumped up almost 11 dollars in the LAST HOUR of closing making a nice loss of about $120. Thank you Turkey.

Thank you Turkey. You need to get out of the habit of taking losses personally. You have to train your mind by repeating to yourself the following whenever you feel emotion - 'I did the best I could at the time, random events do not conspire against me' It sounds silly, but the more you force yourself to say this and think this after a while it will become a powerful asset management tool that will save you lots

Farce turns to tragedy and back to farce We should send Boris over there to calm things down I saw Bryants ridiculous claim about Brexit causing the Turkish coup. I didn't think it worth commenting on. He was the laughing stock on Twitter last night. More typical Remainiac desperation. " Leading Labour MP Chris Bryant, famed for posting pictures of himself in his Y Fronts on the internet touting for gay sex, knows why there was a coup in Turkey...it was all because of Brexit. It is a silly smear from a man who obviously does not know anything about history."

Erdagon is back in control. And he'll feel now he has a bigger mandate to continue moving Turkey away from secularism to a Muslim state. Very sad what's happenning to that beautiful country I think. I wonder how Elfie is

I wonder how Elfie is Thanks for caring about me. I hate everything more than ever and I used to be religious but now I am not because of these people. I will try my best to see the positivity and hopefully to continue my life in another country once i am done with college.

I don't know what to say about Turkey, except that it's so sad to see what's happenning. It sounds unrecognisable from the Turkey I used to visit. I haven't been now for a few years.

^^ I know, I can't remember it before this conservative Islamist government because I was a child then but looking at everything, it was much better and much more Turkish, what's happening here now does not represent us, there is so many things I can say but.... Hopefully it will be good sometime soon and you will visit again
