Better yet, pass on kids! Moar freedom, more money, more holidays, more fun lol Less love. Man come on, just buy 3 or 4 dogs and about 5 kittens, let them all stay in the house with you. You'd be swamped with love 24/7.

My dogs get way more excited when I get back home than my son does, that's for sure.

That's true, not all dogs shed. It's why a lot of dogs a bread with poodles. Boris doesn't shed. I really want a greyhound, love them, they're very gentle and lots need rehoming because they're dumped when they can't race fast enough. It's cruel and horrible. I wish they'd ban that sport. Horrible story the other day. A beautiful Lurcher ( bit like a greyhound but more hairy) was thrown out of a van. It broke two legs and damaged its tail. I can't get a greyhound while I'm travelling, it's not fair on him. But I'm going to have a rescue one. And maybe a little cockapoo puppy as well. Some lovely greyhounds in here here that need a home. www.retiredgreyhounds.co.uk/home-a-greyhound

And owners that say their dogs don't smell have become immune to the smell and don't realise the horrible stench that they live in.

They don't all smell. Dog smell isn't pleasant and some dogs do make a house smell, but not all dogs......
"Greyhounds are a gentle breed of dog. They are an affectionate, quiet and low-shedding breed. ... However, many people with allergies to dogs have no problems owning a Grey as their coats are so short with little to no undercoat - their skin also produces less oils, so "dog-smell" isn't an issue."
Boris doesn't smell.
I used to have a Samoyed, he didn't smell, unless he got wet, then his coat smelt like a wet woolly jumper. But no doggy smell.

You are confusing chidren and nappies (diapers) I think.

School day: In the uk we originally used the term diaper. It was only in the 60's that we started to use 'nappy'. So I can't make fun of Wß for using daft words. As diaper is an actual real life English word.
