Pleased for Ric & Stroll, I kind of wish Bottas didn't overtake him on the line.
Bottas beat Stroll by 0.1 Vettel beat Hamilton by 0.2

*sigh* That was SO good and SO bad all at once. Lewis should have easily had it today, and such a stupid reason costing him! Vettel got 3 laps to build that gap and come out in front of Lewis, really really sucks that it didn't cost him more. based on the penalty he DID get.. he will also have: 1 Reprimand (takes him to 2 out of a max 3 for the season), 2 Penalty Points (takes him to 8 from 12, but will get 3 back in GB), and a 3 place grid drop for Austria.
Stroll... well... someone kissed a Leprechaun this weekend! In fact, the top 3 were all blessed to end up there.
And that's why I'm so conflicted... i LOVE the podium, for the feels and the finish. I HATE the fact Vettel ends up walking away with 2 points more than Lewis.
Gonna go sleep on this result and see how I feel in the morning.

Congratulations to Ricciardo, Bottas and Stroll, excellent race for them, excellent results.
Now...
Vettle is a dirty scumbag. If he were driving a road car, that would be considered assault with a deadly weapon... 10 second stop & go, I'm embarrassed for the sport.

As per Carlos Sainz ruling in Bahrain:
Fact: Collision
Offence: Involved in an incident as defined by Article 38.1 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations.
Decision: Drop of 3 grid positions at the drivers’ next event. (2 penalty points awarded, 7 points total for the 12 month period).
That SHOULD be the minimum as that was based on causing a collision. Seb's penalty was referred to the Stewards for "Dangerous Driving"

I'm actually more cheesed off at that inept fart called Charlie whiting. Wtf kind of 10 second penalty, for a guy using his car as a WEAPON on track and intentionally ramming another competitor? Are you fucking kidding me about this. This race was so frustrating in so many ways.....how the hell could Mercedes have such a ridiculous issue I'll never know. The Force Indias coming together was another incredibly stupid thing to witness. Vettel is just a little baby who can't keep his head, his immaturity really showed when he actually ASKED WHY HE'S PENALIZED. How THICK is he? The best thing to come out of this race for me - no more bro love bullshit between the 2, I hope Lewis puts on his game face from now and treats Vettel like shit at every moment he can. Mercedes should also pressure the dumb fart Whiting for the next 2 weeks for this screw up....a TEN SECOND PENALTY wtf, you normally get that for driving infringements or breaking small rules on track - this is road rage goddamnit.

I am so warn out from that race. So much crazy shit happening.
Disappointed from a man who is supposed to be turning 30 to act so childish and costing himself victory.

Ok, can't leave it. Under the sporting regs, the stewards have these options for the race itself:
1. 5s Penalty 2. 10s penalty 3. Drive-through penalty 4. 10s Stop-and-Go penalty 5. A time penalty 6. A reprimand 7. Drop of grid positions for next event 8. DQ from race 9. Suspension from next event
Now, given all the options above, I DO think a 10s stop-go was the right call considering the situation (behind a safety car so low speed). A DQ would be a bit far really, although I do see the argument for one. And it's not really Vettel's fault that some guy at Merc didn't put the headrest on properly. However, I do think that based on past decisions, he MUST also get grid drops and penalty points at a minimum.
