I want to see if Ferrari qualify within five tenths of Mercedes, if they can't that burning oil thinggie is going to look like a large loomer. Short track but a good amount of the lap is at full throttle so it should be a relatively fair test location.
The rumor mill continues to churn and wouldn't you know it? James Allison "noticed something" on the Ferrari and so Mercedes brought it to the attention of the FiA. Hmmmm.
Red Bull and Mercedes lose their trick suspension, Ferrari loses their shot of espresso lubricant during Q3 runs.

Even with their supposed burning oil in Canada, Hamilton was still 0.130s (ideal lap) faster than Seb And to follow what WB says, if Ferrari doesnt have their bad tricks for Q3 runs, I hope Forceperez India and Red Bullstappen will be able to challenge Ferrari a bit harder than the previous one in quali. Why not during the race also.

Don't forget, comparison times for other GP's this year are in my record thread, which may help you with pole predictions. Looking forward to this one, hopefully it's a Merc-Force India-Williams top 6

Dry Friday and Saturday but a wet race in the forecast. Separate the men from the boys.

Is that right WB? I'm seeing a hot dry weekend. www.metcheck.com/HOBBIES/formula1.aspLast year quali was a bit affected by rain. Lewis had pole and went on to win the race, but there were ding dings with the two Mercedes drivers with Rosberg turning in late and hitting Hamilton. He limped home to fourth. I wonder what fall out ther'll be from the Vettel antics and spineless FIA ? I think a few drivers may not give Vettel an inch in this race. If the red mist descends again he gets a race ban, Don't expect Vettel to be booed by the crowd for his behaviour, this is Austria. Last year Hamilton got booed on the podium because Rosberg turned in on him. However , next race is Silverstone that will be different!!

I wish it was the Silverstone weekend already.
Anyway I'd hope for a wet qualifying, mess up the order a little bit and then watch sparks fly on Sunday with a bone dry (green) track.

I can't watch it live, although from the comments people are making it appears that Seb forgot whatever it was he wrote a sincere apology for. Can't wait to find it on YouTube.

Williams showing up to the party in Austria with some very slick aero work. Hoping it's half as quick as it looks!

Damn, Hamilton looks beefy compared to Vettel, and they wanted to fight? What a worm way to start a conference, basically I don't want to talk about it. And it goes downhill with denial from there. Forza Ferrari!

Easy Press Conference for Mags, not to many questions for him, Probably having Alonso between those 2 would have been funnnier. Also one reporter nearly started having a one on one grilling discussion with Vettel, would have been interesting if that kept going on.

Know the one... actually the question Vettel simply refused to answer was whether or not he hit Lewis with intent. He wormed out of that one.

It wasn't as awkward or tense as I thought it would be, mainly due to Hamilton being happy to move on, water under bridge and being professional like, Still the Kvyat, Verstappen press conference last year at Spain still easily remains the most awkward PC of recent times.

Know the one... actually the question Vettel simply refused to answer was whether or not he hit Lewis with intent. He wormed out of that one. He pretty much said yes without actually saying it. He's not tried to claim he lost control of his car when he took his hand off the wheel like some of his fans have tried to claim though.

Yeah, imagine the fans, first with the brake check, then with steering wheel angles and clearly not intended and and and... apologists indeed. Whether it's for Vettel or for the red overalls, but it seems like birds of a feather indeed.
