My Summary:
- Great race from Hamilton, he purposely slowed up after the 1st pit stops to try and ruin Vettel's tyres to try and help out himself & Bottas, smart thinking. - Poor race by Bottas, just not fast enough. - I don't really agree with the penalty for Raikkonen... but rules are rules. - Surprised Vettel couldn't take Hamilton despite being on the ultrasofts whilst Hamilton was on the softs. - Great race by Ricciardo, got a podium again. Nice work! Shoey Time? - Unlucky for Verstappen but you've got to ask... is it something Verstappen is doing that is causing all these failures? - Poor by the Force India drivers, they came together twice. Got away with the first incident but not the second incident. Otmar has said they won't be allowed to race each other from now on. - I feel sorry for Alonso, all that good work getting up to P7 only to be overtaken with ease by multiple drivers. - Good job by Williams, their race pace is decent but their qualli pace is really letting them down!

Mercedes: Hamilton at his best. Bottas got mugged on the restart and just had NOTHING in sector 2. Ferrari: Vettel got everything his way, just not enough. Kimi has himself to blame for the penalty, didn't lift at all. Red Bull: Ricciardo played a great restart and got a well earned 3rd. Max has nothing going right this year. Look for him to leave at the end of 2018. Force India: Ocon has found himself and is on familiar tracks and looking fast. Perez is looking afraid and making stupid mistakes. Time to leave for Williams? McLaren: I feel bad for them, but am SO sick of Alonso crying all the time. If you're not happy, Piss off somewhere else.

Perez is a dirty driver, example after example, he's always been selfish, and that's okay, but when you couple the selfish nature with a dirty nature, you get someone like Rosberg or Vettel. Perhaps he would have been the better fit in Ferrari rather than keeping Raikkonen again. It was a masterfully controlled race by Hamilton, the first stop on the US, then the pit stops and continuing to maintain the gap and then... it all comes crashing down. The Ocon and Perez thing at Force India is out of control and they've been unable to do anything about it. Couple that with the nature of Perez and that's the reason the SC had to be deployed. That last stint, was pure racing. The Soft compound was 1.6 a lap slower as shown on Friday pace wise and still it wasn't enough of an advantage for Vettel to overtake Hamilton, despite the constant pressure. It was sublime.

The other thing... Kimi with the longest carrer of the current drivers and still doesn't know what a double yellow means? That's just inexcusable. Bottas got mugged and just didn't have the pace today to take any of the positions back, actually Ricciardo is the most enjoyable guy to watch on the podium, so nice seeing him there and well earned but Kimi was lucky to get the position he got, otherwise I'm sure he'd have been the whipping boy at Ferrari at the debrief.

Top drives from both Hamilton and Vettel, both were pushing hard at end there. Ricciardo getting 3rd was cool and race pace during the middle of the race wasn't too bad from the Red Bull. With Perez, he might have drove himself out of a contract renewal with his performance, FI can't continue with these 2 together into 2018, surely not.

Lewis was just superb today from start to finish. The overtake of Kimi was breathtaking, and had to be done. Ferrari would have used Kimi to help Vettel. The restart was perfection. That Ferrari is fast, probably faster than the Merc now. It was purely and simply Lewis that made the difference. Look at Bottas. Since Ferrari have a clear one two and favour Vettel at every opportunity perhaps Merc have to start mirroring this? Those points given back to Bottas last race.......which I think was the right thing, wouldn't have happened at Ferrari and may come back to haunt. This was supposed to be a Merc track, but only Lewis kept them ahead. This is slightly worrying.
I thought Merc should have taken Perez over Bottas. I was wrong. Perez would have been a disaster at Mercedes. Not a team player, selfish. Much as I've been a fan if Perez, he's caused these incidents more than Ocon.
Love Danni, nuff said.
How can Kimi not know what yellows mean? He seemed to think he didn't have to lift because he was on the other side of the track. Doh!

Lewis was perfect, from start to finish. Did everything right, not 1 mistake.....except on the formation lap with that lock up on the back straight. Lol
Vettel, despite having his little lapdog teammate yesterday for the tow, today to try and slow Lewis down after the pitstop, could only stare at the Mercs arse the whole way despite faster tyres and DRS. At least this time he managed to stay away from kissing its arse during the SC. Good job.
Perez is starting to be a dick. If I were the team boss I'd tell these two, you both suck ass at racing each other, from now on it is hold station or give way, depending on what is best for the team. Anyone to go against team orders is fired with immediate effect. Both drivers have cost the team easily over 30 points now in 2 races.
Verslappen must be really frustrated though, can totally understand that reaction. All failures hampering just 1 car, always a real annoyance and you start questioning why over and over.

Pretty amazing by Lewis to judge something like that in such a tense moment of racing.

Yes, amazing he could plan that under the stress of the situation. It was such a tense moment watching that restart.

With that SC, vettel on Ultra's, I really thought Lewis was cooked. Super effort on Lewis' part.

Its either bad teammate, or bad car, or bad strategy. But thanks to him, Ferrari is lucky to qualify 5th at every race weekend. Gods gift to F1. Lol

looked into this for a reply to someone bitching about Kimi's penalty. Pretty much says it all really: Hamilton - 0.6s slower Vettel - 0.6s slower Bottas - 0.9s slower Ricciardo - 1s slower Kimi - 0.03s faster. No excuses accepted, especially given it was DOUBLE waved yellows. Maybe at his age it's harder to see the flags

He seemed to think it was ok not to slow down because he was on the opposite side of the track to the stricken car.
