I watched it too, it was brill, as was the GP2. Really exciting and lots of overtaking. Rrussel needs a F1 seat, he's got talent, his driving reminds me of Hamilton. Much better than Aitken but even then Aitken is still a very decent driver.

Russel needs a year in F2. Stroll's biggest problem (and Ocon's early in the season) was not having raced on most of the tracks as well as struggling to step up to a faster category.

meh... 1-2-3 set it seems. But super tasty for 4th with Ricciardo driving himself into contention after his stop!
I hope Merc leave Hamilton out till after Vet & Bot pit.. would like to see a grand slam!

Ricciardo flying. He'd have been ahead of Vettel without the engine penalty.
Why are the Ferrari's so slow?
i reckon the Mercs , certainly Lewis, have turned the engine down.

I'd say Ferrari have tuned down too. Ricciardo took nearly 2.8s out of Seb in 3 laps, then suddenly Seb is back up to .2s faster BOOOO to Mercedes... they pitted Lewis before Bottas.. so no grand slam today

So why are the Ferrari's so much slower than they were at Spa?

Poor Setup? Mercedes cheating with the oil burn? lol Red Bull were fast because their chassis is good enough to run less downforce than anyone else for straights and still have plenty to turn in. McLaren benefited from that too during qualifying. Ricciardo drive of the day! Alonso whinger of the day! Vettel excuse of the day "err yeah, when I missed the 1st chicane something went wrong for the last 15 laps" Stroll giving Massa lesson of the day on that last lap "you may be older, but I earned this position!" Did I mention Ricciardo drive of the day? That pass on Kimi was just pure joy to watch. All in all, I think this weekend is up there with one of my favorites over the past couple of years. On to Singapore.. will we see the expected Ferrari dominance? Will Mercedes overcome the longer wheelbase issue they had at Monaco? Will Red Bull surprise and win a race on pure merit?

So why are the Ferrari's so much slower than they were at Spa? After the race this was reported from VET on team radio Vettel reports: "The last 15, 20 laps after I went off, something was wrong. That's why I went up and down on engine."

Congratulations to the Silver Arrows, a great result and a nice Le Mans style photo op for their fans at the end. Congratulations as well to Ferrari for managing to make something out of yesterday's poor showing and getting Vettel on the podium. Sorry to see him lose his WDC at home but they'll bounce back in Singapore, we know that. Great holding on to what they could by the youngsters Ocon and Stroll, they drove a very mature and controlled race. Gratzi a tutti!

Mercedes dominated this weekend, 35 seconds up the road from Ferrari and that was with Hamilton & Bottas cruising, they were saving the engine from very very early on in the race.
Great job by Ricciardo, I really wanted him to get Seb, he deserved it.
Bad job by Verstappen, it was his fault for the collision with Massa.
Good job by Ocon and Perez.
Great job by Stroll, did a good job.
McHonda... I have no words for you.

Amazing throw from whoever tossed Hamilton's phone up onto the podium! That was a beautiful through and a beautiful catch.
Hamilton had fun on the podium, simultaneously pissed off a shit ton of italians with a comment saying Mercedes power was better than Ferrari power.

This was one of those perfect races which I loved. Not really exciting, but just so satisfying and brings me buckets of happiness...thanks mainly to the result and the location.

Pretty please with Danny's drive to P4, top effort
And for Merc, they just killed it today, the strangle hold on Monza continues.
