So VET, VER and RAI have been call in for the incident.
Pretty simple... racing incident move on, no ones at fault really but if you do have to portion blame then its Vettel. If he had his time again he wouldn't of been aggressive knowing Kimi was there as well.

yeah, it's funny as hell but a total racing incident. I've done worse on the way to the first corner playing F1 and only got a warning Still, it will keep the news happy and give an excuse come season end if Seb loses by less than 10 points in the WDC.

I'm amazed by the amount of people that think its Max's fault on comment sections on some F1 sites, its just unbelievable.
It would be more liable to place blame on Hamilton fans that put the curse, voodoo or whatever on Ferrari before the race than place blame on Max.

They have to blame someone for ending what could have been a great day for Ferrari, and they can't blame a Ferrari driver, does not compute; so that leaves Max or Hamilton ( it's normally Hamilton they blame) . Hamilton would be a bit of a stretch , so blame Max.

It's still not too late to go vote for Vettel as DOTR

At first, I was throwing the middle finger for Verstappen. But when the replays came up, it was clear to me that Vettel was going in a bit too aggressive and yet again, like in Baku, threw points away. As far as I am concerned, this championship is nicely wrapping up in favour for Hamilton. Anything can happen but it's not heading in favour of Vettel in my perspective.

LOL! Well he was the instigator of a very exciting race start I'll give them that. Bit of a shame for Kimi, Max and Alonso though.

Kimi was at fault for initializing the accident. He IMO shares most of the blame. Vettel however, it's inexplicable that in a situation where he's potentially leaving the weekend with the championship lead, chooses to be not only aggressive but myopic in his spacial awareness. You can't just make the famous Schumi chop he so dearly loves to make without first having overtaken the person he's chopping.
It could very well have cost him all chance at the championship this year. Baffling.

1st corner: ARE YOU OK ARE YOU OK ARE YOU OK KIMI??
3rd corner: ARE YOU OK ARE YOU OK ARE YOU OK SEB CRASHTEL?
Sebastian might've handed the trophies over to Mercedes on a platter for this one. And if he doesn't get some sort of penalty for Malaysia, the stewards deserve to be shot in the face.

Oh ffs. I'm taking another drink, not in despair but because this is one of the most stupidest things I've seen from Ferrari, they're still convinced it was Max.

No further action for any of those 3, particularly for Goldenboy Crashtel since he drives for a team with droves of fans who might tune out of F1 altogether because their star can't drive his car in a straight line.

Kimi made an amazing start. Hams was a pretty good one, Seb's so so, Ric's not so brill( by his own admission , yet a blessing since it kept him clear) Vettel for some reason just chopped right over. Ok, he wouldn't have known what a good start Kimi had made, but this is the start of a GP in wet conditions. He should have been more aware.
I agree with Mark Webber that they got their punishments in the race, all three, wherever the blame lies. So that should be it.
I'd say a racing incident with the majority of the cause lying with Vettel. He was over aggressive and he should have been thinking of the championship, and he lost out. I think his deliberate swerve into Hamilton before the summer break , that only attracted a mild penalty, was a much worse crime. It was deliberate, petulant and dangerous.

They double down, no wonder the tifosi act as they do, they take their cues from the Screwderia themselves. FFS, have some fucking dignity.

Lewis just needs to get the Msian victory, and then he can (almost) afford to come 2nd to Vettel in every remaining race to be drawn on points (but Vettel takes the trophy on virtue of more wins).
Wow, talk about a Championship defining circuit. Similar to 2014 Singapore, Rosbergs steering issue on the grid which swung the pendulum firmly to Hamilton, 2008 Singaporean GP with Massa dragging his fuel hose and losing the lead to Lewis who was eventually Champion.

Actually with the US GP, and Suzuka being tailor made for Hamilton and his W08 all he'd need is one other win to have double digit wins in 4 consecutive seasons. That would be a feat that would likely last as long as the sport itself.

With all the overcooked saggyness on the interwebz, it's nice to see drivers that want to compete, want to race and want to win. Vettel I think knew he had to get out of turn one in the lead, at all costs. Probably didn't think it would be that costly. www.facebook.com/Formula1/videos/892537780903205/?hc_ref=ARQ5Dbtba8zzFbC5Lrf61D86TjGVdf94-2qvKsOCvYVPL0u5FqwJfdDKRAmBndSnLDg&fref=gs&dti=1191636277545878&hc_location=groupReading quite a bit about Mercs set up for the race on Sunday instead of the qualification on Saturday. They knew they'd have an uphill battle and chose to go aggressive with the wet set up. Shows the kind of lap Hamilton did to come up only 6 tenths short. They were pulling away from Ricciardo at will even with intermediate tires that were three times as old as the Red Bull's. Hamilton mentioned that at the beginning of the race when he saw it would be a wet start, he was smiling because he knew he'd be able to fight. We really lost out on a fight for the ages today. Vettel showed as much restraint today as Verstappen usually does.

The overcooked sagyness is hilarious! Validates a few issues, not that they really needed validating. Yes, Hamilton's interview, he practically said when he saw the rain he knew he'd win, he bit his tongue, but he knew he had a very good chance. Then Vettel made it a whole lot easier for him. That was such a tense race! I was shaking and hiding and grasping my hands and groaning! Jeez! So much going on, safety cars, the narrow road track, the rain, crazy moves. I guess we had ourselves a good one. Would have been better with the Ferrari's and Max in the mix......silly boy Vettel!
