Watching Hamilton's pole lap from last year this is a power track, medium to high speed turns which should suit Mercedes, with some slow speed corners that will benefit Ferrari. On the straights it's going to be all about who's willing to remove the most amount of trim they dare to here the advantage goes to Merc. Someone came up with this map which I think is pretty good at illustrating just those points. I think turns 10,11 and 14 should be colored teal.

Ahaha "Being Hammer's home GP, maybe he'll submit picks for the league pool?"
I love it @wb

Just saw the news. So :headscratch: does that mean the Sainz is staying for the time being?

^^ don't put any money on Honda powered cars. Though it wasn't a Honda powered car that blew up spectacularly while easily leading a race....throwing away a guys championship.

Its Toto's fault though. The legend says it was sabotage at its finest to maximise Nico's chances of winning the title.Just saw the news. So :headscratch: does that mean the Sainz is staying for the time being? Affirmative. According to the rumors, Palmer's father wanted $7 millions to vacate the seat for the remaining 6 races, which Renault declined to accept. Renault offered only $3 millions.
I think Renault forgot Palmer is a pay driver

To be fair to Palmer, he's had a shit run of car trouble and been booted thanks to back room deals. He has a full contract till the end of 2017 so of course he'd be looking for a huge settlement to break that contract because his only hope of staying in F1 is if he now drives the shit out of the car and gets a top 7 in 75% of the races then takes his money to Williams and says "Look, I AM a good driver, I'm British, and I can pay!"

I don’t get this reliability argument because even when the car is reliable, he is well off the pace. Too many sessions have passed with Hulkenberg getting a P5-P10 and Palmer only scraping a P15-P20.
