Grosjean must surely have had issues there?? Grosjean couldnt get his tires up to températures (I mean in the sweet spot). He messed his out lap.

Seems like tyres were being particularly tricky and unpredictable today.

Seems like tyres were being particularly tricky and unpredictable today. Window is too narrow. Grosjean said 3-4° was the right window. But its more up to him on that one rather than the complicated pirelli tires imo. He was saying this to find some excuses as usual.

Certainly not with the Super Softs. The tires just would quit mid lap, they had poor sector 2 performance all throughout Q from what I could gather. Havent seen a good screen capture yet of best sector times.

I can help with your opinion but it does make sense to me.

in melbourne Kimi was used like a pawn and he knew it. Now this Last Q3 outlap : streamable.com/5cl9m"Kimi was mainly compromised through turns 6 & 7 with Sainz, and through 12 with Ricciardo, and those two corner sections of the track must be instrumental in getting the tyres into shape because of the speed taken through them." - From Reddit. Well last year I could understand why. But this time, I feel bad for Kimi, I really thought he was going to have a chance to compete this season in equal term as I was sure the car was going to suit him better than Seb which is actually the case. Hes not gonna fight for the championship unless there is a justice somewhere else in this world and if he has a dignity at least. At the same time I feel like he put himself in this position and laugh at him. I wonder how you can be friend with your teammate when something like that happens? This is inimaginable for me, he cant even play it a la Rosberg at this point given the situation. People are talking about conspiracy but they need to stop using this word and focus on what makes sense because the term conspiracy is just a practical term for a manifest failure of critical sense so when you call someone who make sense a conspirator, this is an insult. How as a driver Seb, I dont know, how you can find a satisfaction when you win as the number one in your team not on merit, how they can have fans I dont even know (well I know but still 😣) I hope Kimi has a blistering start tomorrow if hes at the front I am sure he will win this time and elaborate his own strategy in his mind like in Hungary 2013.

It seems almost mandatory for Lewis to let his challenger get some sort of head start in every Championship battle.

I didn't watch qualifying but man it's funny to see both TR-Hondas beat the McLaren today.

Alonso is surely jinxed. Every time he leaves a team/engine supplier it comes good. You can overtake on this track . And Lewis is a master at overtaking. So all is not lost for him to put up a decent fight and move up the grid. Providing he can get and keep the tyres in the sweet spot. I really feel bad for Kimi. Both races he’s been faster than Vettel, much faster this weekend, but Vettel comes out with the advantage. I hope Kimi maintains this driving advantage all season, Seb can’t keep ‘lucking’ in. Perhaps this car isn’t suiting Seb as well as Kimi ( hope so) . Seb is very car specific. When the car suits he can be brill, but when it doesn’t he gets beaten by his team mate relatively easily. Seb can be a funny bunny out of the car, but in the car his ruthlessness oversteps the mark for me ( Baku against Lewis, driving into Mark, to name just two) I know Kimi can be droll, but he’s honest. I don’t believe he would play dirty like Vettel, he’s more honourable. So for me I really, really hope he maintains this advantage and beats Vettel over the year.

I had the same thought, this Ferrari is a bit of a handful and they don't have it dialed in yet. But luck sometimes goes hand in hand with being a funny bunny as you put it.

Out of left field comment but has anyone in Bahrain not figured out that price Salman is gayer than a three dollar bill? Not that there’s anything wrong with it but given the human rights and oppression of women, it’s actually quite surprising.
