Don't think Daniel has much to argue there during Q. Probably many things have been adding up to his frustration, its not just about getting a tow. He wanted to go to better pastures but that ain't happening. He wanting out of Red Bull but seems stuck there unless he goes backwards to a inferior car.

LewEngBridewell , don’t be too despondent. We have Vettel, Vestappen and Grosjean all together on the grid, none of whom are known for their circumspection.

Who wants to put fast money, Ricciardo will be ahead of Vettel after the 1st corner thanks to respective psychological states currently.

I admit I'm quite envious of Verslappen right now. 20y old on top of the world, winning at the A1 with all those fans. Insane.

Not the result anyone was expecting, there may be a lot of goose eggs come pool review, but it was a fantastic race. I thoroughly enjoyed it, the start was frenetic but I was on edge the entirety of the 71 laps!
Mercedes need to rethink their entire strategic program.
The most mature drive we've seen from Verstappen yet, excellent result, kudos to Ferrari for not doing the swap at the end. I think that's an indication that they may keep Raikkonen for another year.

Agree with all that Wß Mr. James strategy guy of Mercedes may have been very contrite about his error, but it’s not good enough. Too many wins, points, positions gone begging because of his decisions or lack thereof. Mercedes pitwall: VCR! VCR! James Strategy guy: Okay! Okay! Hang on, let me check my laptop. Well, we have option 1 or option3 , we could do either of those.....Oh it’s too late. All the others stopped, we missed it.

Oh dear... loads of people on various sites are suggesting that the Vettel/Hamilton overtake was just as bad as the Rosberg/Hamilton overtake... lol Vettel overtook Hamilton cleanly and fairly, it was a perfect move that puts Rosbergs attempt even more to shame. streamable.com/qota2Hamilton's engine appears to be fine, it was a loss in fuel pressure and Mercedes are confident that if it wasn't hot and Hamilton wasn't pushing the car like he was it wouldn't have happened. Plenty of rumours going around over the tyres and tyre tread for the remaining races, we might see Pirelli change the tyres on safety grounds reducing the tyre tread for all/most races as the blistering could be unsafe.

I thought it was a very clean race, even the star which was crazier than usual. People talk shit like they're still talking about the tire situation. I'm glad Silverstone has the "special" Mercedes tired.
