Best race of the year coming up! I can’t cant can’t wait! Weather in the UK is glorious and set to stay! It’s high 20’s early 30’s but breezey. Breezey means likely near gale force at Silverstone! Okay...certainly windy. I’m going on Thursday . Sunbathing on campsite with wine. Foxylady arriving also Thursday. Raceegg arriving Friday tea time. Wish you could all join us! It’s going to be a mega one! And we have the football quarter final England Match right after quali.

vgy.me/r60ZyZ.jpgFerrari have brought an updated floor: Comparison to their old one: They've also brought a modified rear engine/exhaust cover coping Mercedes however it's no where near as refined as Mercedes' solution. They've also brought some rear brake fins: Mercedes have brought a slightly refined wing for this race with a little bit more of a spoon angle, the same sort they run at other power tracks. Toro Rosso have brought some new Mirrors, hollowed out just like Ferrari's. If you look carefully there are also fins come off the back of the Halo. Mercedes are running the same engines as the last race however for Quallifying & Race Bottas will take a new engine, they'll put the old engine back into the pool and go over the data to check if it's all okay still. Both drivers and ALL customer teams have a new modified fuel pump to try and prevent the failure that Hamilton had last race and the FIA have ruled the Mercedes mirrors are legal. McLaren have admitted that their 2018 car has less downforce than their 2017 car... that's crazy.

Touch and go there for a while as to whether or not the Merc boys would need to replace PU components.

Touch and go there for a while as to whether or not the Merc boys would need to replace PU components. Mercedes changed their plan last minute and switched Bottas to a new engine, they'll test and potentially run the engine at the German GP instead due to the lower temperature expected and less power needed at that track.

So much for escaping unscathed. No Penalty but Bottas is now shut out of any improvements made on their version three PU for the year without taking a penalty.

Oh man actually in english its hard for me show my emotion but man I am shaking everywhere in my house, the happiness I have is crazy. I was praying so hard for Hamilton during his lap, asking my ancestors to help him. I am so grateful to support Hamilton, I am still walking in my house like a football coach, right, left, right, left, YES HAMMILTON Thank you. Need to finish the work tomorrow because Ferrari is the fastest car 🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨
This year so much pressure when you watch those qualy.

6 pole in Brazil for Senna. 6 pole in England for Hamilton.

That was a great qualifying session, Vettel was setting the pace and had a few mistakes on his lap (less mistakes but bigger) and Hamilton too had a few mistakes on his lap (more mistakes but smaller), Hamilton had matched Vettel in S1, went faster in S2 but needed to match Vettel in sector 3 to stay ahead as Ferrari were setting the best 3rd sector times. Hamilton steals pole and then Raikkonen is going purple in S1 and S2, looking like he can steal it away... but thankfully Hamilton keeps it. I don't normally have a driver I really want to get pole position but for this race I really wanted Hamilton to claim it because it's on his home turf, wanted a good vibe going into the football and wanted Hamilton to match Senna for 6 poles at one track and wanted him to have the best chance possible to beat Alain Prost & Jim Clark for most wins at the British GP. He also has taken the record for 5 British GP's in succession. Checkout this interview whilst the World Cup was on: streamable.com/5utuo and also

Man did you guys see the onboards? Was the resurfacing project a joke or what, go kart tracks are better quality than that! I'd be concerned if the cars can last the distance tomorrow, with all the internals having to take that shit for a race distance.

I'd be concerned if the cars can last the distance tomorrow, with all the internals having to take that shit for a race distance. Yeah, It looks terrible. It's way bumpier than before and will be putting the suspension to the test tomorrow in the race. Watch Hamilton hover his finger over the DRS button just before turn 1, it's bouncing all over the place. Turn 1: A tiny mistake, turned in a tiny tiny bit too early, no harm done. Turn 2: Perfect Turn 3: Perfect Turn 4: A little bit of understeer and as such missed the apex + had to catch the rear, lost probably half a tenth or maybe even a full tenth. Turn 5: Perfect Turn 6: Perfect Turn 7: A little bit deep, no harm done. Turn 8: Not a corner. Turn 9: A tiny tiny bit late on turn in, no harm done. Turn 10: Perfect Turn 11: Perfect Turn 12: Perfect Turn 13: Could have potentially taken a tiny bit more kerb, no harm done. Turn 14: Took a little bit too much kerb, probably because of turn 13, lost probably half a tenth Turn 15: Could have taken it a bit tighter, lost less than half a tenth. Turn 16: Turned in a tiny bit late, could have taken a little more kerb, no harm done. Turn 17: A decent entry but got a bit happy on the throttle and had a scruffy exit, probably lost a tenth~ Turn 18: Missed the apex, no harm done. All in all he could have probably gone 3-4~ tenths faster if he nailed every corner.
