That was a good race. It was never clear cut who was doing the right thing, it seemed Ferrari screwed up again for a bit when Lewis had new tyres and was all over Kimi. But Ferrari and Kimi this time killed it and managed to stop Mercedes+Lewis. Great job, and pleased to see Kimi get another win before leaving.
When #Crashtel hit Ricciardo and spun like a top, I didn't even have any emotion anymore. Guy has lost it. Lol

Very interesting, thanks for sharing. I thought it was mighty suspicious for Crasht....Vettel to be so upset when he missed out on pole that way. He sounded almost as upset as when he crashed out in Germany. Ferrari and Vettel seem to have gift wrapped the titles to Mercedes, it seems. Forza Ferrari Regazzi benghazi! (Wtv the hell that means)

Good race, and for Kimi getting the win. Think Lewis should've pitted the moment the gap started to drop below 19 secs though.

Agree stonemonkey . I don’t think Hamilton’s early stop was a strategic error. He was still in 2nd place and they all had a pitstop left to do. He basically got a free pitstop there. Good move I reckon. The mistake was allowing the gap between Hamilton and Verstappen to drop below the time for a pitstop ( 20s) It’s seems they couldn’t decide whether to take a pitstop or try to make the tyres last, and that indecision lost 2nd possibly 1st place. Maybe selecting the yellow tyres, which didn’t seem to be holding up well, wasn’t a good idea also, but I think Lewis was limited in tyre choice. I have to say, great driving by Kimi. One of the best drives in recent years he’s had. Thoroughly popular and well deserved win. Also great driving by Max . He was harsh but fair with Lewis. Can be no complaints there. That said, I think Lewis would have had him but for the marbles. That was a brilliant battle. But Lewis had to keep in mind the title. Vettel. Oh dear. the win was there for the taking. Error in P1 . Error in q3 . Error near the start letting Ric back through. Error spinning out. Really enjoyed that race.

Sebastian Vettel: I have no problem admitting to mistakes
Based on a conservative estimate, Vettel's errors over the course of the season have cost him at least 80 points and he currently trails Hamilton by 70 in the standings. He said he was willing to take the blame for his mistakes but maintains that Ferrari did not have the pace to win at crucial stages of the championship.
"It is not like there is a fundamental problem," he said. "In the end, it looks a lot worse than it was. I have no problem admitting the mistakes I have done. On top there were some things that happened to us that didn't help us.
"The crucial bit has been that for a big part of the season, we didn't have the speed to really be there and then other stuff happens which maybe doesn't help that.
"Overall, we have the potential, but we need to still grow and learn. So there will be a lot of stuff over the winter we need to review, all of us, including myself."
Vettel said his results went into a downward spiral once he started making mistakes and losing points.
"I mean, once the s--- hit the fan, it didn't get better," he said. "There were too many of those incidents. I don't believe in luck or bad luck but surely here or there, things didn't go our way entirely."

What a tit!! Lol I'm almost liking his arrogance considering who he's driving for. Keep it up #Crashtel!
