So I finally started my German level 2 classes (completed level 1 like 2 years ago!) and making it a point to listen to only German songs for now. Anyway I've been listening to Oomph! for a few years now and here are a few of my most loved songs. Some of you guys might appreciate the last vid quite a bit.

I like this song.
and this one...
and thus...
Oh and this one. This one's French and I used it to choreograph one of the dances in the last show I did with my school kids. I also took these kids, (there were about 8 of them) to a dance showcase with this number. It was a festival of all local schools . Most kids were junior or secondary schools. My kids were only 4 and 5 years old. They were amazing. They did a routine to that track and didn't go wrong once. They were all dressed in stereotypical French clothes..boys and girls. Blue and white stripes white or blue skirts or trousers and berets. They were the stars of the showcase, amazing kids.

I love freaky weird singers like this. And I think this is a lovely cover (there are some piano versions she does too which is just even lovelier)

I'm not sure why, but I really enjoy all of the Galantis songs, they're all catchy and put me in a good mood for some reason. For example, their latest: Also, I have to post this. I got sent it by a friend and I was shocked that Vengaboys are still around (granted this video was from 2 years ago) but, we all love whats in the video

Take the parental advisory warning seriously on this one... good club song though if you want to burn off some energy dancing.

Don't know if this fits with anyone else's taste here, but it's one of my all time Top 3 bands and I've been hitting the replay button on this too many times the last few days.
The first 4 minutes (with lyrics) are beautiful. Then it gets a bit heavy.

Crazy song. Not sure if it works outside of Britain. Not sure it works inside Britain actually it's maybe just my warpedness. A one hit wonder for Jilted John. This is Top of the pops in the 70's ( I had to search for one that didn't have the paedo Saville introducing it. ) got to number 6 I think.

This is what Lewis lost. This is Nicole singing memories. There have been other acclaimed performances of this song, Elaine Page, Barbara Dickson, Barbara Streisland; but they were just good performances of an amazing song. With Nicole it hits another level. It gets inside you and makes you feel it. You can't listen to this without your eyes stinging, your throat closing and your scalp tingling. This performance is not lifted from the show. I think it's an award performance.
This is from her in the actual show. Watch for where she stands up about three quarters through. You need to listen with the volume up and without distractions. Not as good as live in the theatre, but still amazing. It's the best thing I've ever, ever seen live, will remember it forever.
I'd love to know if she moves you guys like she moves me.
