Well FP1 was a bit of a flop.... 2 Red flags because the medical helicopter couldn't take off! Interesting Top 10 (albiet without some drivers who didn't get out)
1. M. Verstappen 2. F. Massa 3. L. Stroll 4. C. Sainz Jr. 5. R. Grosjean 6. D. Kvyat 7. F. Alonso 8. D. Ricciardo 9. V. Bottas 10. K. Magnussen

It's a worry when the telecast says "IF FP2 goes ahead...." And then you have Sky chatting for 5 mins on what will happen if the race can't go ahead......

Lewis signing and throwing hats to fans. Where were the rest of the misery drivers?? These fans have paid and travelled to the track to see nothing! It's the least they could do. Vettel is funny.....out of the car. He's a bitch in it. Now talk if quali AND race on Saturday!

Next minute.... Hamilton fined for accessing the track during FP2.
The race will either happen on Sunday or not at all... Too much involved trying to move it to Sat, and Monday cuts it too close to get to Bahrain in time.

LOL! Yes I heard then discussing Hamilton getting a penalty. That won't sit well with Liberty trying to make it more fan friendly and entertaining.
So long as they don't start banning him from the race, or putting him at the back of the grid.

FP3 is going to be interesting. With no running whatsoever on unknown tires on a green track. I think we're on for good racing this weekend.

FP3 underway!
Fastest Time (all sessions) 1:32.238 (Michael Schumacher, Ferrari, 2004)
2016 Chinese GP times to compare FP1: Nico Rosberg 1:38.037 FP2: Kimi Raikkonen 1:36.896 FP3: Sebastian Vettel 1:57.351 (**WET**) Qualifying: N. Rosberg 1:35.402
2017 Chinese GP FP1: Max Verstappen 1:50.491 (**INTERS**) FP2: **NO RUNNING** FP3: Sebastian Vettel 1:33.336
Top 4 all within 0.5s (VET/RAI/BOT/HAM) with Bottas compromised and Hamilton making a huge mistake on his lap. Qualifying will be VERY intense!

times are getting too close to my interforum pole pick! I didn't think (on Tuesday when i did my picks) that they would beat the lap record, but now I'm not so sure!

I think I said 1:32.8.... and they're already .5 faster BUT Q3 is sometimes slower

Well Vettel's current q3 time of 1.32.391 is DAMN close to mine! But they might go faster in Q3. I'm not sure Lewis has let rip yet. My time is.1.32. 323
edit: My time AND lap record beaten by Raikkonen !! And still only q2!

And Kimi breaks the record with a 1:32.181
Tell you what though, Alonso is driving a car that was just under 1s behind Ricciardo. That is with an ERS that runs out half way down each straight and tops out 11km/h slower than the Red Bull. McLaren aren't in as bad a shape as it seems. If they can work that out, they could push 4th in the constructors.
