I'm not sure about this. His record in the Clio Cup was not exactly spectacular.
But hey, good luck to him.

I've read a few similar comments on facebook. But let's see. Different type of car might suit him better. I'd love him to do well. Presumably he'll race with hand controls?

I really hope the kid does well and Lewis can give him some advise now and again, how sweet would it be if Nicholas got up into F1 and was team-mates with Hamilton :O
"HAM is trying to overtake HAM but HAM is better out of turn 3, lets see if HAM can get a good run out of 4 and overtake HAM before 5"

The BTCC is more badass than F1 in many ways, they be bumpin n griding the entire way...it's full contact over there! Good for Nicholas....I'd love to have a WDC bro to ride on to get in there though. Not saying he ain't talented, fully deserved but it should help having Lewis Hamilton for a brother.

I'm sure the Hamilton name won't have harmed his cause .and Lewis advises re technique sometimes but that's it, Lewis goes no further. He says if Nick wants to do this for his own self esteem and satisfaction he has to do it himself. From a team perspective, taking on a disabled driver , especially one with a famous racing driver for a brother, is something of a publicity coup. But the driver has to have some talent. I remember Lewis saying he used to play F1 racing games over the internet and invariably Nick would beat him, so the kid has the instincts. Good luck to him I say. . He's got five races, one being Silverstone. I hope he makes it. He'll be hugely popular but he's up against some very talented and experienced drivers. No hiding places.

Weird how the BTCC allow him to put his name as Nic Hamilton, surprising.
To be completely fair to Nicholas, he's doing pretty damn good considering he has cerebral palsy and can mix it up with these other drivers!
