Its all kicking off now. Red Bull are unravelling after 5 yrs of arrogance an cheating. Its increasingly obvious Renault said 'fk you Red Bull with your unfreeze unlimited spending shit, we will hold back the tokens to suit ourselves, you dont even pay us, have dissed us, etc, lets see who is in charge, we will save wasting our money till your contract runs out' And now by this escalation its obvious they dont want to continue as free supplier to Red Bull, which means they will leave F1 as they would be stupid to actually buy a team instead of cut losses Funny how many fans have been saying the same thing about RBR recently - deceitful lying manipulators who have suddenly become bad as once they stopped winning - what a coincidence - when they were winning were they not also deceitful lying manipulators maybe who were getting away with things? www.f1today.net/en/news/200606/renault-on-red-bull-hard-to-have-a-partner-who-lies?

It's certainly a sorry state. Not a way to treat a partner who's helped to deliver you four world championships, well more than that with drivers and constructors.. I guess as far as Reault are concerned, enough is enough. They don't have to take that from the likes of Horner and co. I wonder if Vettel saw the writing on the wall and it wasn't just his trouncing by Dan that instigated his move to Ferrari?

Red Bull are desperate, they did not plan for this situation at all and are starting to see that the exits are mega expensive and will basically cost what they make during the good years of the deal they made with the devil
Is that why you brought a 16 year old driver in, to make this argument - nice planning!!
No one cares,no one likes RBR, they have no fans, NO ALLIES
Yeah yeah, keep proposing a dumbed down return to Kers from the past, Renault and all the other engine makers voted against, you dont even have an engine making facility so stfu till then
Who cares if no one watches F1? you didnt care, Mercs marketing gain for complete dominance of the most technological advanced Motorsport ever will dwarf its investment, who cares about anything else? everyone has said Merc are only there for marketing and will leave anytime, why the hell should they care about dwindling numbers, if they win in 2020 with zero audience, they will still make their adverts and sell Merc cars
Nope Bernie is gone so you cant cheat anymore, leave already - Helmet Barko and Horner are deploying the 'strategic withdrawal whilst methodically trying every single last ditch defence of the same assets they are preparing for the slash and burn capitulation and complete withdrawal' strategum

This is what Lewis has to say about Red Bull and their calls for equalisation. "I find it quite funny and interesting that the opinion is coming from individuals who have had so much success," Hamilton said. "Bearing in mind it has only been one race, so to already have comments like this is what I find funny. It was a big step for me to come to this team that had so many years of poor performance." Hamilton pointed out Mercedes never made similar complaints before its breakthrough season last year. "They hadn't had the success of other teams and not once did this team complain to others in order to equalise things, they just worked their arses off. Joining that team and making that progress, now we are the best team, we have pulled together and done an amazing job. Read more at en.espnf1.com/f1/motorsport/story/195579.html#YyP850v2TFAGKBwB.99

And now Renault are looking at the option to simply walk away from F1...leaving the "liars" holding their 4 WCC trophies in one hand and bollocks in the other. Lovely!

Renault want to walk away from the liars.....who are looking to leave F1 now they aren't winning, but need a buyer for their team if they don't want to lose a packet.
One of Renault's options is to buy an F1 team and enter as their own team.
Red Bull might be for sale.....you see where this is going?
Horner, if that happens you'd best see if Whitmarsh can get you a job making boats, because I think you'll be surplus to requirements.

Renault will not buy a team and re enter F1 as competitors. There is absolutely no economic or marketing sense there at all. They would have to increase their spending several times over without paying customers just for the chance of catching Merc and Ferrari? Renault threatened to retreat from F1 if the new regs didnt come in, and now its gonna be like they did leave as thy will have no paying customers - so losing money, and no marketing gain - crap engine. They are obviously not gonna catch Merc without changing completely and spending big, why do this before the next big regs shift?
Best bet for the Viry mob is to wave the white flag and retreat whilst they have no customer obligations and maybe return at the right time.
Why would they buy RBR or STR or Lotus and try and do what RBR cant do despite a willingness to spend much more than Renault have in the pot?
Renault are sounding the retreat and RBR have created a perfect excuse for a partial face saving surrender

Also its likely byby reckoning that the relaxation of the 4 engine rule by unanimous agreement by everyone at a short notice meting is connected to Renault making it clear that they will just run down the rest of their contract with RBR and leave, and further will not develop much more. As its no skin of the Merc groups nose if theres an extra engine or not as those who will need them will be at the back anyway and so grid penalties will become a farce
Imagine Alonso getting grid penalties that will take a season to pay cos h is at the back anyway, say he gets a 25 place penalty for a new engine, that gets transferred to time penalty because he was starting 2 spots of the back - then he would be a laap down at th start of the next race or something silly, no one needs that.
And the fact RBR pushd for the unfreeze means Renault delayed using their tokens and so by the time they use them RBR are likely to be out of the original 4 engines and using a 5th that isnt upgraded yet
You have to say, for once the RBR/Ferrari agitation worked for Ferrari and blew up in RBRS shitface

Not a coincidence that all of Ferrari's complaints ceased and diseased. Can't say it was their plan all along but they certainly had the foresight to quit while they're ahead... literally.
RBR and Horner take all the heat and embarrassment, Ferrari come out looking like they're nose to the grindstone for the challenge.

So both Toro Rosso boys ahead of Red Bull... I guess Renault is right in pointing out there's something rotten in Denmark.

Anyone notice Horner seems to have a stylist recently and is hamming it up for the cameras etc
Seems to be saggy spices influence. Probably all the recent posturing and making an arse of himself is all about trying to ensure she doesnt run off with Kyviat
