Yes it is, 😢 Hoped from the beginning that Mercedes might have taken them on as a second team, but wasn't to be. Sad.

I don't blame Mercedes for it though, they're already getting benefits from Williams and Force India. Less PU customers better equal more quality control this year.

I always thought it would be worth McLaren Honda jumping in to have a junior team. A Dennis led Honda development team would make sense; he has an eye for youth potential. Hell, I'd even jump on a Button/Dennis bandwagon!

Manor's conservative analysis and calculations were showing that if they made it to Australia they would of had enough performance to finish around P10-P11. Very interesting indeed. Also checkout this beauty Shark-fin version: Very interesting rear wing, also look in the sector picture. They have the same twin rear wing mounting pillars. They should have been salvaged by someone, really devastating what happened there, they were the poster child of everything wrong with the current financial situation. I hope the EU hands them some retroactive cash. Well, at least cash that couldn/would go to their creditors and any money owed their employees.

I wonder if Red Bull will purchase some of their bits because for a team to go from pretty much last to thinking they can be P5 by conservative data analysis means they have some pretty impressive aero plus they were running twin rear wing pillars so I suspect they were doing something like Ferrari are doing.
