So, I posted this on the a few weeks ago for some certain reason and forgot to post here asking all you beauties the same question. What languages can / do you speak? Both for coding & speaking. I unfortunately can't speak any other languages other than English, I know a few basic words in French & German but that's it As for coding, I'm not necessarily proficient in these but I can code bits and pieces in: Python, VB, VBA, Javascript, PHP(5), HTML(5), CSS(3), VB .NET, PostScript, Lua, VisualFoxPro, MySQL (Not really coding) and also AutoIt, AutoHotKey, AutoKey and Sikuli (again not really a true form of code imo) I want to learn some Java, C, Objective C, C++ and C# but I've never got round to them and they're probably the most important ones other than Python.

I suck. Only know English fluently and Malay (less fluent but ok)...and basic German. I can construct sentences easily but grammatically I'm still shit.
I realized when I stayed in Europe, people there knew an average of 3 languages FLUENTLY. It made me feel somewhat lame...except I kept consoling myself for being fine with English which a lot of Europeans strive to grasp.

I speak to a fair few Europeans and there we are conversing in English and I can't even say "My name is Ryan" in their language, I am jealous they are so good at learning languages. You made a good point about Europeans striving to speak English fluently, all the Europeans I know and speak to are happy to be correct on any mistakes because they want to learn to get it correct but obviously you have to correct them in a non-condescending way. They genuinely enjoy speaking English with you because like with everything, practice makes perfect. I must admit, I am a sucker for European accents, they're so cute and adorable.

I am fluent in English and sarcasm.
As for other languages I have been taught some morse codes, also Murrey code. I used to do a lot of machine code (6502 to be exact) I have also done PLC and CNC programming in the past.
I can get by with html, php, css and MySql (slowly and with some Google searches along the way)
I do some basic programming on my android using RFO basic. It reminds me of Qbasic and that relaxes me.
I aim to get better with JS and Aurdino this year.

Spanish is my native language but I've lived in the US most of my life and feel more comfy speaking English. I can fend myself pretty well with the romance languages, read them well enough but that's it. As far as machine language, it's funny you include that here RyRy but why not, it's a language just the same. I don't speak any though, gives me a headache. I understand binary and hexadecimal though. EDIT: oh yeah... how could I forget. I am fluent in the language of LOVE.

Interesting my Dad knows CNC programming and he showed me some at his friends work and it looked super easy for me to understand. Speaking machine language... gosh that would be weird, typing not so much. EDIT: oh yeah... how could I forget. I am fluent in the language of LOVE. My wife is pretty good at speaking Nag. I bet all you do is: (Nod and smile!)

My Spanish is graded school, I went to school formally in a Spanish speaking country until the third grade. So all of my formal education is in English. So I always feel as if I can't express myself the same way when speaking it. But I can fluently read and write it, maybe 7/10. It's weird, because I've read that you think in your native language, but I don't.
