Rate the Chinese GP from 1 to 10 with 1 being awful and10 being one of the best you've seen. Maybe you'd like to write a line or two to tell us why you ranked it like that.

Ok, I'll go first. I quite enjoyed this race , for me it was about a 7 out of 10. Here's why.... It lacked a an on track battle amongst the leaders for me to rate it higher.. Also ending was a bit marred by the safety car. I wanted to see Lewis let rip and Kimi attack Vettel. But this is what I did like, which stopped it scoring lower...... lewis winning/ managing tyres/ managing race/ getting under Rosbergs skin. rosberg whinging verstapen. Superb!! Other on track moves lower down the field maldonado alonso on Button at the end button under pressure from Alonso, then Oops! The Marshall's trying to get Verstappens car through the gap. Hulks feed back when his car stopped, " something bad happened" it's the sort of feedback I'd give.

8 out of 10 for me.
We missed out on an Alonso vs Button fight and the whole safety car incident at the end robbed us from a great Raikkonen vs Vettel fight.
In my opinion I would have sent a radio message out to all drivers "Marshalls and a stranded car on the right hand side half way down the start finish straight" as a warning, quickly get a few marshalls to push the car forwards so it's right against the wall then resume racing, all drivers are aware of the stranded car and it's relatively safe.

Gave it a 7. Would have given it a tick higher had we seen a scrap at the end from the Ferrari boys. The time to Vettel from Raikkonen was coming down fast, would have been nice to see how the last sector 2 corners went. Overall, not bad.
Oh yeah... This happened.
Lewis Hamilton joins Juan Manuel Fangio, Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher as the next man in the sport to hold five poles in a race circuit. Wonder is mnmracer recorded that statistic in his now tear stained notebook.

Thats th sort of sensibl thinking that could only happen in at the Germany GP if a German was in the lead, err hold on....

Gave it an 8 but I think maybe a bit generous since it was a Grand Chelem for Lewis after all. Lol. Really good strategic race up front though, and some good racing in the midpack as well as the back, the icing being Maldonado racing like a veteran and the most experienced driver on the grid rammed it in dramatic fashion.
Did anyone else think Lewis overdid it a bit at the starting grid with the car almost at a 45d angle? Lol

It did look extreme but was apparantly legit. When asked about that Lewis said he hadn't intended it to be angled that much, but as he jiggled into position, that's what happened. 'You can't the start manoeuvring it back and forth' he said.

RC has covered most points..& I was giving it a 7.... Lewis was superb all week-end..only mistake he nearly overshot his box at the start...& couldn't do anything about it......deep breaths...I nearly needed a paper bag to breathe into... Verstappen was magic.....felt so sorry for the lad, when his engine gave up.....but the slap stick removal of his car...would be great in a b&w movie....finally it made it's exit thru the gap..minus front wing... But for Button to crash into Maldanado & get a 5 sec penalty....def deserved an extra point...

Alonso had a wry smile when asked about the Button crash into a faster driver on better tyres. Alonso was gonna take Button anyway and just turning up in Buttons mirrors was enough to turn him from a sitting duck to a panicking rookie - that was the difference between Alonso class and Buttom class As far as Kimi 'get this Mclaren out of the way' must be the lowest point for Mclaren for decades, only way is up now - I just hope it wasnt Alonsos Mclaren and no one plays the radio chat back to him

6/10 for me. It was alright, but no real action at the front other than Rosberg complaining about Lewis' slow pace and his tyres getting wrecked. Not great really on that point.
Some spectacular retirements and some excellent, excellent mid-field scraps saved the race on this occasion.

It was so funny.

It was so funny. You know what. Both times Kimi said that, I sensed a laugh in his voice.....at the end of his comment. Listen again. I think he's just havin a laugh here.
