In the mercurial world if F1, it isn't always talent that gets the drive. I've chosen four drivers, that for various reasons I like to keep an eye on. Maybe one of them will make it to F1, who knows.
Mick Schumacher
I've no idea how good he actually is but he's just won his first car race. He's 16 years old and races in Germany's Formula four championship. If he's inherited his fathers skills and tenacity one wouldn't bet against him.

Mitch Evans
Mitch is Australian and races in GP2. I like Mitch for no other reason than his team, 'Russian time' stayed in my hotel at Hokenheim and led us to the track. And Mitch won!!
Jan Mardenborough
I've mentioned Jan before. He briefly drove in karts but when his local track closed his parents couldn't afford to send him and he had to give up. Years later he won a national cometition by ( Sony play station I think) . The idea was that if you had the reactions in gaming you'd be good on the track. And so it proved to be. jan is current,y racing in GP3 and World Endurance. He's 23.
Darroch Marshall
I only know this name because I heard Lewis comment that he's the real deal.
I've looked him up and he sounds phenomenal. He's 13 and has only been karting for about 8 weeks. He went to his local kart track and on his first or second outing was close to the lap record, I think he's now broken it. he's already competing in the Formula1 backed Formula Kart series. He's looking for local companies round Milton Keynes to sponsor him.

So who do you have your eye on for the future? Or just enjoy watching their progress?
