Interesting. Surely they can't be any worse than CVC. And it could mean the end of Bernie and his stupid scheming deals and silly games.

My only worry here is that anyone making a huge investment in the sport is going to want to squeeze yet more profits out of it. There would have to be a plan in place to adjust the imbalance that is inherent at the moment otherwise they're buying a teardown instead of a fixer upper.

It's also a long long way to go in order to get a GP in Qatar.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/33260515Looks like Bernie is staying on... Mosley says the competitiveness needs to be brought back into the sport. "You want the best players racing as fast as they can," he said. "You don't want drivers thinking about fuel consumption or tyres."

Well I have to agree, all out racing is the best. But they've messed and fiddled and now drivers have to negotiate different obstacles. Give them nice fat tyres and their own race engineers and strategists, and.....and....Im not technical enough to know what else...maybe not such big front wings . I dunno. I'd much prefer them flat out than conserving things. Or at least being able to control the conserving as a strategy rather than a necessity.

F1 is like an old knackered horse, forced by its owner to drag tourists up the steepest hill day in day out for years. And everytime the owner has made good money and the horse feels it deserves a bit of a rest or a bit of care, and everytime the owner Bernie sells the horse to a new owner who then proceeds to work the horse harder than ever to get his own profits. And Bernie stays through it all, finding the next owner willing to take it over and screw profits out of the old dying horse, with no remorse or no care.
This time round we have an American yahoo backed by 'more money than moral pr sense' Government 'whitewash' funds, with Bernie remaining around to show them how previous owners screwed every penny out of the dying horse.
Its like being on holiday on an island in polynesia and being ferried around by a man whipping his overworked donkey - you know the chaps being unfair on the poor beast, but its 'how things are done' as far as transport goes. But still you are less inclined to revisit and sooner or later there will be a poor donkeyless owner
Just like someone will be left without a seat when the f1 donkey expires

Bernie can't be evil. He's too short.
