I know this is a topic we said that we would leave well alone. But this is something I cant believe. Its the Thursday before the British GP - and a website that self proclaims to be always number 1 for F1 Discussion and News, has not one discussion on the upcoming British F1 GP. Not a single British GP thread in siteIt has just stunned me so much, that I had to mention it. It makes me a little sad.

Why should it stun anyone? Any grace in that forum had left it some time ago, and now resides in f1forum.org.

A bit of a retrospective here. Hard to look at our previous forum home now. It's a wasteland. Days go by without a single post. There is next to nothing in the way of useable information and worst of all, a UK based F1 forum that doesn't have a Silverstone thread on the even of the GP weekend is baffling. I would point and laugh if it wasn't so painful to watch the erosion... never have more hollow words been posted. Attachments:

The only consistent thread there is the driver of the race thread by an overspanked character who derives great joy in doing some complicated mathematics (by his overspanked standards) in averaging the ratings of each race from a grand total of 4-5 votes per race.
Lolzors.

I think it's sad because at one time it was such a vibrant place with all sorts of different views and people posting. I remember all the past Silverstones where I wrote about my weekend, posted pics, gave info to people who just popped on the forum to ask about camping or places to view. And it's gone. It's like looking at a derelict building that was once a bustling happy place. And I think that's sad. No point going over the why's, we all know the whys. I'm just so happy we have this great new place. So thanks LRW for that.

I understand the sadness for you guys, since you were there for way longer than I was. To me, it served as a place to discuss F1 with a few knowledgeable guys, and rant at a few pretty idiotic idiots with idiotic assumptions/sheep flocking/stupid bias....and to be honest I never enjoyed the ranting part that much. What made it bearable was having a few others who could see straight and put the energy in keeping that place bearable. Fortunately, for me personally this place has way wayyyyy less of the bad and all the good remained. So yep, thanks for LRWs few minutes of drunken (?) genius that fateful evening.

.....thanks for LRWs few minutes of drunken (?) genius that fateful evening. Lol - It was mid afternoon in my part of the world Who knew all you needed was a slow couple of hours at work to create a nice little boutique F1 forum.

The 2 most idiotic F1 statements have to be;
1) Hamilton will regret leaving this team if he wants to win anything again 2) We dont need you knowledgeable lot, we have sagi, overdose and zurich
