Lewis was over cautious at the start and could have covered Nico off. He didn't and got in a mess. Now he has PENALTY POINTS! Penalty Points is like detention in school. He'll probably be one of those people who didn't mean to get it and won't do it again

Loved this race today. That's two BRILLIANT ones in a row (and I honestly thought Austria was fairly decent too).
Good to see McLaren getting a slightly better result. Hopefully the progress will continue! Shame about Kimi, but very pleased for Seb, Kvyat and Verstappen.
Many people still allude to the Hungaroring once being described as a poor circuit. For me, I don't think a boring race has come from this venue since 2004. And this was a brilliant show. It's what Jules would've wanted to see and be part of at any rate.

I find myself appreciating Kvyat's demeanor and cool throughout the podium ceremony, and he's got some skill too. Both drivers in RB are likeable, too bad their boss is such a spice girl.

What I cant compute is how Lewis unaviodably understeers into Ricc, gets an instant drive through, and Nico avoidable cuts into Ricc - no further action just doesnt make any sense at all Driver steward...Emanuele Pirro?

Three drivers make a similar error, two get penalised and one gets nothing. And yes, Lewis' was clearly an accident, he put his hand up straight away.

NB. Post is meant to be humourous since a few "non-black" drivers got penalized.

The funny thing with that video is he was serious, he said it and then thought "shit, I shouldn't have said that" and quickly tried to escape! I kind of agree there will be some racism towards him from some people in F1.
Racism is going to be around for a while still, but eventually it'll go away

Lewis was spot on. I don't think that was a throw away comment he made. He gave the rider..'well that's what Ali G would say'. But I think Lewis wanted to get it out there. There it is, now do what you will with it!

As long as we have commentators like this one (McNish, Brundle, Wilson, Coulthard, Watson) then it would be a surprise if we didnt have race stewards who were also (likely unintentionally) viewing Lewis through a pre defined filter. Not rascism in the overt way but more a cognitive bias caused by stupidity or ignorance/limited education

It's funny because it's true. I love the "articulate".
