Two races into the year I said I like Sainz's performance over Verstappen. I think they're a great pairing for Toro Rosso but IMO Verstappen came in a whirlwind of hyped up speed and maturity. He's only shown one of the two which is why Sainz is steady and ahead.

What's funny is that the Merc battle is pretty much as one sided as Ferrari, but look at the points difference between both pairs of drivers. Rosberg is still so strongly in contention thanks to the default no.2 position...if these Mercs were in midfield, Nico might be fighting for a contract right now.

He's only shown one of the two which is why Sainz is steady and ahead. I like them both but can't help prefering Max. In fact Id say Max is my secind favourite driver after Lewis. I think I like him Because he's so fast and even though so very young he withstands the criticism when he has a go and it doesn't work out. And he still has a go next time. Sainz, yes he's steady and has been getting the points but sometimes I forget he's in the race.
