Hypothetical question, so not looking for answers just opinions. A few weeks ago it was all about how Jules would certainly have been a Ferrari driver. Now it's all about how no one else on the grid could measure up to Kimi so might as well keep him. Sounds like more of the having your cake and eating it too mentality that is Tiffuzy land.

Despite their recent rhetoric I suspect they would still have kept Kimi over Jules, using the old method of calculation - Kimi = 1x WDC, Jules 0 WDC. Even a Le Mans winner is not prestigious enough for a team looking to cash in on perfumes and handbags

I think Bianchi would've replaced him if he were alive depending on how he'd do in Sauber this year, which possibly means not now. Ferrari want the best in their team, obviously. But it would also depend on mid-season testing, which Bianchi would drive for Ferrari, so it could be like Ricciardo going to Red Bull. I don't imagine anyone can correctly predict if the choice today would differ had Bianchi been under consideration but he would be a 2017 driver for sure and that is what I think Ferrari are doing. I don't think they'll retain Kimi for 2017.
