She's precious. It gets better... wait until the first time she rolls her eyes at you.

I got an evil stare that my little one must of learnt from her mum when I nicked a chip off her plate.
I find it much better when SWMBO and the kids are not around to watch a GP.

Shes adorable I usually watch F1 alone, I was going to have someone come over to watch it with me but in the end, as it usually does, it turns to ashes

What better place to post this... I've been thinking of getting a new TV. Not for any particual reason other than I bought by current TV back in early 2007 in preparation for the 2008 Olympics. It was a 720p plasma display only professional panel so no tuner no speakers, nothing but a plasma display. I have to say that It's still quite capable and I have no other reason to upgrade other than 1st world problems. That said, I'm thinking of this Vizio M50-C it's a 4K television. I like the aesthetics of it, extremely thin bezel and it's a super bang for the buck. Normally I would have poo-pooed anything that wasn't Samsung. I know Vizio wasn't prime time but they've seemingly made a big push for the flat panel market and this TV actually has some pretty damned unique features that makes LED come close to plasma when it comes to the blacks. I know oLED is the future but I don't want to spend 3 grand on a TV at the moment when this upgrade is head an shoulders over what I've got now and costs 1/3 the price of what I paid for my plasma back in 2007. What are you guys using?

So I finally went out and got this TV. It's strange how much television progress has been made since I bought a very high end 42 inch plasma 8 years ago. This thing is a bizarre watching experience with 4k content. The up-scaled 1080P is pretty good certainly doesn't get in the way watching F1 etc, but it does have one flaw... the up-scaling algorithm has a very hard time with flesh. It feels as if it needs detail to work the up-scaling and in people's faces, particularly women it tends to just wash out the flesh tones from lack of detail to focus on. With 4k content it really looks as if you're looking out a window. Freaks the hell out of the dogs too!
