OK let's get this thread right away from LRW's nan and where WB's mind was going concerning her.... RyRy pies......... What would I cook for you? Well Id need a little more information on the texture issue ( Im with you on some of that) and also on the dislike of vegetables. You like onions, that's good, they're great for flavouring ( I only don't like the big chunks). So how are you with leeks? I guess mushrooms are a no go? First thoughts are one of the following....... 1. Chicken pie. This pie would be made with thigh meat which is more succulent that breast and very tender. No fat at all. It would be cooked in some gentle spices and white wine and thickened with Creme fresh. If it was acceptable to you it would also add either leeks or mushrooms. If it was acceptable to you I may add a little Parmesan cheese to the pastry. 2. This would be a game pie. Either venison, bison or phaesant, or a mixture. The meat would be cooked long and slow until it melted in your mouth. It would be cooked in red wine with bacon, peppercorns, fresh rosemary, bay leaves, onions, carrots and celery ( sorry guys, it works for the taste in these dished) . When it was cooked the meat would be removed and the liquid strained and retained. The liquid would then be thickened slightly with corn flour and put int o pie dishes with the meat. This would work best just in a pie dish with a puff pastry topping. Of course, changes...additions or omissions, could be easily accommodated.

Ewwewwweww yes mushrooms are gross it's like slimy moldy stuff gross! Leeks are good too in small quantities First thoughts are one of the following....... 1. Chicken pie. Creme fresh isn't the nicest, but chicken is good the same goes for leeks and cheese. You could smother it in cheese if you wanted lol. I use cheese to cover up the taste of lots of foods. 2. Definitely a no to the celery and carrot but everything else there sounds nice as long add peppercorns are few and far between. All in all, I'd try both especially the last one because that sounds pretty great. So, RC you are now our resident F1 Chef! I love celery. Best way to eat it is..... Place it so the curve is facing up. Then fill the channel with salad cream. Then eat. So so yum. So, you're covering the taste of it with tons of salad cream lol! Good because celery is nasty.

Isn't everything really? It's a good thing they made us delete the NSFW stuff. As If that could stop me.

Tbh I will eat almost anything apart from
Baked beans - I had a dream as a kid that my mate fell off a wall split his head open and baked beans came out.
Tomatoes don't like the texture.
