Saw one of these over the weekend. It's quite possibly the most hideously over designed new vehicle since the Juke.

It's a Lexus RX. I'm sure they'll sell lots of them since they're targeted at the low priced (40~50 thousand dollar) luxury SUV market but seriously... ugh. I'm cringing at the thought of having to look at these things littering the parking lots of strip malls and big box stores everywhere for sea to shining sea.

It looks even worse from that angle. Nasty.
All cars have got so big now. Even the little ones. The mini's git big, the beetle's got big. I liked them when they were little and cute.

That grill is a joke. It astounds me how some of these concept cars manage to get approvals from the boardroom. Just shows those guys at the top level have sh!t taste in cars and will approve anything if pitched correctly. Btw check out this piece of sh!t in Malaysia which looks so bad that they had to get rid of them using '2 for the price of 1' discounts: It's not SUV sized, it's actually just a car.

Btw, we need a puke smiley....to get ready for the 2016 season. We have one. But we could have a more graphic one. I like the one where the little mans face got bigger and bigger and then he did a massive puke. That one would be good.

Oh yeah....but that looks like a dude with a bad running nose. Lol. The one we had at the was a lot better. Sideways view of an emoticon throwing up a heavy spray of chunks. That graphic bit I wrote is for LRW.

Yes the had two. Both good . One did yellow sick, that landed in a pile. The other one did green sick that built up in his mouth then seemed to blow half his head off.

Looks like a decepticon that's not quite managed to turn completely into a car WB, and that thing hammer, I assume the dodgem style bumpers right round it are because anyone buying one probably isn't that good a driver.

The first car in this thread could look decent with just a few changes to the car, the front of it is horrible. I wonder why they've gone for such a big grill, who knows they might have to have that size because of overheating or something.

I think it's to make it look fierce and mean. 'Get out of my way here I come!' That's the mentality of some drivers in those sort of cars.

That's the affliction thoug, the trend is for OVERDESIGN, if an accent line or two is good, then ten must be better. It's really bad at the moment. It used to be primarily a Japanese car designer affliction but lately it's everywhere.
All of these monstrosities could have been... Dare I say almost pleasing.
